This year, nearly 200 students earned degrees across our law, master’s, and LLM programs.

Representing 45 states and five countries, the Class of 2026 brought a range of experiences, perspectives, and passions to VLGS—and leaves with much to be proud of as they take their next steps in law, policy, advocacy, and beyond.

Have you heard the news? Abigail Dillen will take the stage on May 16 to deliver this year’s Commencement address.

As the president of Earthjustice and Earthjustice Action, Dillen leads more than 650 staff in using the power of law to protect the environment and people’s health. Her journey is an inspiration for the kind of work many of our graduates will carry forward.

Other honored guests will include Jay Blumenkopf JD’76, a member of the school’s charter class, and Professor David Firestone—both part of the early days of Vermont Law School.
