Unexpected circumstances can make it difficult to manage important College matters. A FERPA release helps you stay in control by allowing you to choose a trusted person who may receive selected student information if you are temporarily unable to communicate with SMCC.

You decide:

β€’ Who is authorized
β€’ What information may be shared
β€’ How long the authorization remains active

A release may be helpful during a hospitalization, family emergency, unexpected trip, military deployment or another situation that limits your access to phone, email or the internet.

To complete a FERPA release, log in to MySMCC, open Anthology Student, select β€œMy Profile,” then β€œMy FERPA.”

Completing a release is optional, and you can review or update it at any time. Learn more at www.smccME.edu/ferpa

Congratulations to Dr. Chuck Lloyd on being named the next chancellor of the Community College System of New Hampshire!

Dr. Lloyd is a dedicated champion of community colleges, and we wish him every success as he begins this important new leadership role.

Just remember, Chuck: Your former colleague, SMCC President Kristen Miller, is now fully converted to a SeaWolf. That should make for some fun trips to Concord when SMCC takes on the NHTI Athletics! 🐺

The Community College System of New Hampshire has named Dr. Chuck Lloyd as its next chancellor.

A Granite State native, Dr. Lloyd has spent more than 20 years with our colleges, serving as president of White Mountains Community College, interim president of Manchester Community College, and CCSNH's vice chancellor. He steps into his new role August 24, succeeding Dr. Mark Rubinstein, who retires at the end of August.

"CCSNH – its students, mission, and talented faculty and staff – has been at the center of my professional life for more than two decades," said Dr. Lloyd. "I am eager to address the opportunities, as well as the challenges before us..."

Student > Staff > Asst. Coach > Head Coach. Congrats, Ian.

Southern Maine Community College Athletics is proud to announce the appointment of Ian Regan as Head Men's Basketball Coach.

A former Seawolves student-athlete, team captain, national champion, and assistant coach, Regan becomes the 12th head coach in program history following the retirement of longtime head coach Matt Richards.

After spending the past three seasons on Richards' coaching staff and helping guide the Seawolves to a YSCC Championship and two USCAA National Tournament appearances, Regan now assumes leadership of a program he has helped shape both on and off the court.

"It is an honor to be named the next head coach of a program that has played such an important role in shaping who I am today," said Regan. "I'm excited to build upon the foundation Coach Richards established and continue the standard, culture, and legacy of this program."

Please join us in congratulating Coach Regan as he begins the next chapter of Seawolves Men's Basketball!
