A very busy day in the bee yard. 🐝

Before we can bring honey supers in for extraction, we need to separate the bees from the honey. Sometimes they make it pretty clear they have other ideas.

This is one of those moments that gives you an idea just how many bees are working inside a strong colony.

And yes… we eventually got the supers. 🍯

One of our favorite sounds of honey harvest — uncapping a frame of fresh honey before it heads to the extractor.

There’s something pretty satisfying about watching that layer of wax come away and seeing the honey underneath.
