Tri-State STEMM School

Tri-State STEMM School Enroll your child at the Tri-State STEM+M school to give them a unique school experience. Grades 7-12 Our school will be a STEM school focused around medicine.

The Tri-State Early College STEM+M Early College High School is an innovative concept aimed at reinventing high school education and would be the first of its kind. We are passionate about the power of personalized learning and high expectations for all students to change the trajectory of individuals and, ultimately, a community. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

STEM career fields have become more and more important in our ever-changing economy. Health care was found as the number one need for our Appalachian region because our region has the fewest primary care doctors, but the most severe health problems in the nation, according to a recent University of Kentucky Health report. The school was initiated to address this need through producing graduates ready to enter the various medical fields with strong intellectual capabilities and quality training. Our school will be located in the medically integrated Wellness Center in South Point, Ohio. Not only will our students have state-of-the-art facilities and technology in the classrooms, but also they will be learning concepts in the classroom that are applied and implored right next door by real-working professionals. The school will focus on Inquiry-Based Learning and Project-Based learning, which will allow for hands on activities and a sense of self-ownership when it comes to grades for the course. Our faculty and staff will include esteemed professions who are excited to teach students. Internships and partnerships with local professionals and business will also be a core part of our program. We have numerous partnerships with local professionals and businesses to ensure that learning is not solely based in the classroom. This is not just another public high school, this is a collaborative where students from all backgrounds can come and receive an education that will push them and help them become self-motivated and engaged learners. Upon graduation, we believe our students will be able to compete and excel in college courses as well as entering a career path. By the time that our students finish their high school degree, they will have completed 2 full years of college courses. This comes 100% free to the students. Our mission is to inspire all students to achieve personal excellence, pursue world class STEM-M education and become self-directed life-long learners.

πŸš— SCHOOL TRAFFIC NEWS! πŸš—

Parents & families, please take a minute to review our drop-off and pick-up traffic pattern for the school year. Following the same route will help us keep traffic moving safely and smoothly!

πŸŒ… MORNING DROP-OFF
Pull through the school traffic loop and drop students off at the main entrance.

πŸŽ’ AFTERNOON PICK-UP
Pull all the way through the loop, as far forward as you can, and wait in line. Students will exit through the middle door underneath our large Tri-State STEM+M logo and meet you in the pickup line.

⚠️ IMPORTANT TO KNOW
The entrance/exit by the digital school sign will be CLOSED permanently throughout the school year. All vehicles will need to follow the designated traffic loop for both arrival and dismissal.

⏰ Want to skip the traffic?
Here’s our little insider tip… come about 10 minutes later. πŸ˜‚

The parking lot is busiest from approximately 3:00–3:25 PM. If you aren't in a hurry, giving it a few extra minutes can save you from joining the Great Tri-State STEM Traffic Jam of 2026. πŸ˜‚

⚠️ REMINDER: Please drive slowly and cautiously while traveling through our parking lot. We have student drivers entering and exiting, as well as students walking through the parking lot during arrival and dismissal. Please stay alert and be patient.

Thank you for helping us keep our Ravens safe and traffic moving! πŸ–€πŸ€πŸ¦β€β¬›

Marshall CCP Textbook Update

Hello Tri-State STEM Marshall CCP students and families. We have an important update regarding Marshall University textbooks.

Marshall University has transitioned its bookstore from Follett Bookstore to Barnes & Noble College. Because of this transition, student bookstore accounts will not be active until Friday. Please do not attempt to log in before then.

Beginning Friday, visit marshall.bncollege.com and log in using your Marshall University email address and password-the same login you use for MyMU.

Before ordering: Students must check with Principal West to see if we already have a copy of the required textbook available at school or if we can from Amazon. This does not apply to required digital access codes.

When ordering online, select Campus Store Accounts at checkout and enter your Marshall Student ID number. If renting a textbook, a credit or debit card may be required to remain on file for the rental agreement, but you will not be charged for the required textbook.

Students may also obtain their books in person at the Marshall University bookstore using their Marshall Student ID number.

Because Marshall classes began Monday, please email your professor and CC Principal West regarding the textbook delay. Principal West will work with you to ensure you are not penalized due to the bookstore transition.

Detailed step-by-step ordering instructions have been emailed and posted on our flyer.

Thank you for your patience as we work through this transition!
