Tomorrow night, the lights come on, the stands fill up, and the Band of Gold takes the field for the first time this season. 💙💛

To our first-time band parents and supporters: enjoy it. Soak it all in. The long practices, late nights, Friday night lights, bus rides, competitions, laughter, friendships and memories - even the hectic parts.

These years go by much faster than you think. And someday, you’ll miss even the craziness.

Your life is about to revolve around marching band… and we promise, it’s worth every minute. These just might be some of the best years of your child’s life - and yours, too.

Here’s to the first Friday night of the season. Enjoy the ride, Band of Gold families.

Tonight, the Band of Gold gave us a preview of their 2026 competition show, followed by an ice cream social - and then the parents got in on the action!

Band members handed over their instruments and gave their parents a crash course in the show opener. Let’s just say… we may need a few more rehearsals before the parents are competition-ready. 😂🥁🎺
