This past Saturday we had our 1st ever Themed Recital at Octopus Music School North Brunswick and 11 Year Old Octopus Music School South Plainfield Student, Sahashra, performed by Lisa Loeb Official with Mr. Jeff with no prior rehearsal! Great job Sahashra!

Our Octopus Rocks South Plainfield Campers are having a great time working together this week!

It’s only Day 3 and they’ve already completed 3 songs as a band. We can’t wait to hear them perform on Friday!

Here is 14 Year old Octopus Music School South Plainfield Student, Aishani, performing by Taylor Swift at the 2026 Octopus Music School Spring Showcase at the Rutgers University—New Brunswick Nicholas Music Center with her Teacher, Mr. Jeff.

One of the cool things about taking lessons at OMS is that When you tell your teacher that you want to play a song that has Banjo in it, that teacher runs out and buys a Banjo.
