I love that I had the chance to play with my colleagues in NYC Unscripted playback theater at the small museum MoRA.
I have a dream that one day this team will play together with Thread Playback Theater: one day, one day.

I love the energy we created that day.
When the audience stays and talks after a performance, it’s always a sign that something important has happened.

Special thank you for amazing photos to

Who won? Or will win? - this is a question sometime people ask about relationship between technology and humans.

During our performance “INTERCONNECTED” It was everything.

We had such a rich stories!

Now we know how Santa was killed.
We know how to buy a raccoon.
How to experience generational changes.
Lost and gifts, life changing event.

It was amazing!

Thank you for the stories and wonderful time together!

Old technologies, modern technologies. They become part of our life. They play role in our stories. Are you agree?

There are some of my memories.

“When I was a kid, I could not call my friends when my nieborgh talled by phone. Because we had the same phone for 2 families. We could hear any conversations from the other family if you couldn’t breathe while holding the phone.”

“I remember when my best friends in college made a special recorded cassette for me - it was a radio program with music and some funny talks, jokes about me.
I was inspired and recorded my cassette with an erotic fairy tale for my boyfriend when I went on a trip without him. It was my try to go out of my box. I didn’t know how to speak sexy, how to create sexy stories. That was my step out of embarrassment.
towards discovering sexual life.”

‘After many years since the breakup, my boyfriend found me on ICQ. We spent hours talking. It was a closer.”

“Once I thought: “Oh, maybe my real love is a guy from my kindergarten. What if I can find him in Fb? I remember that I didn’t find him last time. But what if I write his name in English? Oh, my God, I found him. (My heart starts to beat quicker) I should write him!”
I opened the Messenger, and I saw that I already wrote to him last year :)”

“I remember collecting CDs with my favorite music. And then I saw all my discs as tools to scare birds away and protect our harvest from the trees at our summer cottage.”

“I remember my first shock when I saw my friend in his flat on Skype video. My brain could not understand it. And recently I deleted this App because I don’t use it.”

“Zoom was a lifesaver during COVID. I led Kitchen talks by Zoom every Saturday. There were people from Ukraine. I can never meet with them that way again. It made me feel sad. Recently, I discovered that my friend from Greece became friends with another one of my friends whom she met at my Zoom kitchen. I can’t believe that it can influence in that way.
And I never forget how we cooked s’mores on Zoom fire during an event.”

What is your story about connection with technologies?

02/23/2026

Have you ever thought about the role of technologies in our life. We became so interconnected.

Do you remember a first moment when you discover a technology tool which impressed you? What happened with you?

And how does it look now?

Do you sleep close to your phone?
When did you feel realise or anxious without your phone the last time?

Dear friends!
I love what this project does in Sarasota.
I think mental health is vital for our community! And I love the way Lifeline Productions works with topics - they use theater and art for it!
If you never seen their production, you should!

On March 9th, I will be a guest at their event and share stories about life, relationship struggles, immigration, and my journey of self-discovery. It's serious themes, but I can't make it not fun and joyful.

Come to join the evening!

Torchlight Series: Olga Sannachina | Lifeline Productions “I have no problem...except I want to be famous.” What begins as a simple confession unfolds into a journey through psychotherapy, childhood memory, immigration, love, and the long shadow of a father’s influence.

Our social media activity was on pause.
Is it bad? For attention on our Instagram.

But how essential Pauses on stage!
People say that actors who can hold a pause and keep the audience’s attention are the masters of acting.

Why is it like that?

Pause can tell you more than words.
It can show everything untold, hidden feelings, conflict, moments of truth.

Pauses can be very powerful in life, too.

* It can make you mad to wait for an answer.
* Or give you a chance to win in a job conversation about money - tell the price and hold a pause. It’s a sales trick.
* Or can help you to come to a final decision,
* Or express your love without words,
* Or give you time to collect resources for action.
Even Sleeping Beauty slept, paused with some purpose. Do you know which one? I love to play this story with my theater students. We always discover a lot during Sleeping Beauty’s dream.

A long time ago, I couldn’t keep silent, pause in connection with people. Now I know that a shared pause can be full of love.

So we come back to active social life.
Rehearse, teach, and prepare our performance for unique communities on the 25th of January.

Why do you like pauses or afraid if them in life?

- I’m an independent, successful person.

And sometimes I feel very lonely, and I hide in my small bubble.

- My life is full; I don’t need others too close.

And sometimes I feel longing for real connection with others

- I can find everything in ChatGPT, even a companion, and stay connected l the world through social media. I don’t need anything else.

And I miss real connection with people who understand me, ready to hear and see me for who I am.

- I did everything in the city; nothing can surprise me. I’m bored.

And sometimes I feel my need for meaningful, valued time with others, not just drinking one more cocktail in a bar.

Come, come to the playback theater where you can experience real life with laughing and crying, with the feeling of being alive and connected with others.

We create an improvisational space where you can see real life stories of the audience on stage.

Gifts You’re Scared to Get Again.

Have you seen the movie The Game with Michael Douglas?
It’s about a terrifying gift the main character receives — scary, but also refreshing and transformative.

Would you want to receive a gift like that?
Or be part of the team that creates such a gift?

I remember receiving a skydiving gift once. It was a challenge I couldn’t avoid, and I’m still reflecting on it. But I do love creating impressive presents that sometimes truly surprise people. :)

Sometimes people try to be caring and give gifts that actually make you feel… weird.
Like anti aging cream from a friend, a diet book from your mom, or a pet snake from your “funny” friends. Have you expereince it?

As a child, I hated getting books — I thought they were boring.
But now… please give me an excellent book! Time changes relationship with gifts.

Tell me:
What kind of gifts have made you feel strange?
And what kind of presents are you afraid to receive?

And come to our performance “I Gotta Gift” Decrmber 16th- check the profile.

I met during the Fringe Festival in Sarasota and was enchanted by his unique charm. Later, I discovered that he and his colleagues had opened a new theater and stage in Sarasota.

I saw 2 of their shows, and I can tell you they are courageous, funny, and special to Sarasota. Every production is full of creativity and new vision. Every actor is a talent.
I’m sure you will enjoy and fall in love with Luke and his team if you see him in their show.
