Today was an awesome success!! Thank you to everyone who helped out.
Wanna take another moment to recognize Jennyfer Rodriguez who so kindly worked on the balloon towers for the breakfast and will be used again for the clap out and also to Jessica Jennifer and Valerie Anne for volunteering so generously to do the balloon arch for the clap out on Thursday. Thank you all so much! It takes a village!
Remember the clap out is at 1245 where they come out for dismissal on the 4th grade side. Sadly if it does rain they will only walk the halls inside and parents are not allowed inside.
So keep those finger, toes, and everything in between crossed so these kids can go out with a bang!

All the 4th grade farewell events are getting close!

At the breakfast, the kids will get their yearbooks (provided by PTSO) and will also receive a special pen to keep for the yearbook signing. We will also have a photobooth where pictures can be emailed home. Then they will also watch their memory video together. There will be table decorations, wall decorations and also 2 balloon towers. We have all the food taken care of, and are not allowed to add any more snacks on.

At the ice pop party, the kids will all join together during school hours and enjoy some ice (like we had on Carnival Day!) and chips.

At the ice cream party on the 21st, the kids can hang out outside with their classmates on the Riley blacktop/playground while enjoying
ice cream from Mr Softee! Moms and dads- now is your chance to get some last Riley pictures with their friends!

Clap out- We will have a balloon arch for them to walk through along with 2 balloon towers. We will also have a Lawn Sign out for pictures to be taken by.

Does anyone have any other ideas of what we can possibly add/do for the kids? Please let us know below. Time is limited so please let us know ASAP! Thanks for all the food donations we have signed up already. You're all awesome!!!

UPDATE!! The 4th grade ice cream social is being moved from the 20 to the 21. We were able to get the gym reserved in the off chance that it rains the kids can get there ice cream and go inside to hang with friends. Thanks for the understanding. Hope to see you all there!

Attention!! If anyone took a group photo at the bowling alley today and it's a straight one with all of the kids in it could you please either send it to me or post it on this page. Thanks so much!

Want to take a moment and just say thank you to all of you that rolled with the punches and didn't bat an eye when plans had to change today. The PTSO is so happy that we could do this so our kids wouldn't miss out on anything. They all had a blast and it was so awesome to watch them all having a blast. Thanks for all the support. Class of 2023 you rock!

Good evening everyone. I want to apologize i was going to stay after school today to hand out the lawn signs but due to the air quality I decided against it. I promise I will get them out as soon as things clear up. There is a possibility for tomorrow but if we do it tomorrow we will send a remind message. Thanks for your understanding. I scream! You Scream! We all scream for Ice Cream!

The PTSO is cordially inviting ALL Riley School 4th Graders to join us on June 20 at 6:30pm on the black top for a special Mr. Softee Ice Cream social. The kids will receive either an Ice cream or Italian ice of their choice to enjoy with the rest of their friends.

This is completely free for the 4th graders and is NOT a drop off event. PARENTS MUST STAY!

Parents are welcome to purchase their own treats if they would like. If anyone would like to bring a towel to sit on and hang out to enjoy a night with the rest of the graduating class that would be awesome.

We hope to see you all there and enjoy a night with fun, laughter, and Ice cream.

Please not this is just for the 4th grade class. NO SIBLINGS PLEASE!

Good Afternoon Riley Family! Hope you are all doing well. Can you believe the end is almost here?! Where did the time go? I know its been awhile since I've posted on here so just wanted to give everyone an update. Thank you to Cindy Franciscus for giving me all this info and writing the following info. I need to give props where it is due. Please read the following message:

Working hard on 4th grade farewell activities. Budget update-

$1900 budget
Mandatory trip shirts cost $724
Mandatory trip bags and tags cost $360

Remaining- $816.00
Our Lawn sale fundraiser raised - $144

That brought our New total to $960.00

Out of $960 we need to pay for the big breakfast buffet for 90 kids, supplies and decorations for breakfast, decorations for the clap out, an ice pop party, decorations/supplies for ice pop party, etc.

Please support ANY 4th grade fundraisers that you see, as that will help raise more $$ for our kids and make their farewell even better!

Thank you to Nj Printing for your generous help with the trip shirts and lawn signs, which raised $144.00 for our kids.

Thank you Tania C and Susan S for your help in making a memory video for the children to watch at their breakfast.

Thank you Cindy for the breakdown of everything I'm sure everyone appreciates it like I do.

I know there is alot going out right now but everything is going back to our kiddos so they can have the best farewell we can give them. Thank you as always for all the support and if you have any questions or ideas please don't hesitate to ask. Have a great day!

Good Afternoon Riley 4th grade class. Hope you are all enjoying this lovely day. Unfortunately I come bearing some not so great news. I was just informed yesterday that we are unable to do the 4th grade promotion ceremony. I know it stinks but it is out of our hands. Every school must follow suit and none of the other schools do a promotion ceremony.
With that being said we are still going to do our clap out on the last day, we do still have our field trip on May 31, and we are still trying to work on the breakfast. I know some may be disappointed and trust me I do understand but on our end we are doing the best that we can.
I will keep everyone up to date as I hear anything else. Please inform your fellow 4th grade parents that might not be on this page.
