October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM)!
Each October, NDEAM celebrates the skills, talents, and contributions of people with disabilities in America’s workplaces and highlights the importance of expanding opportunities for meaningful employment. The 2026 theme, “Celebrating Value and Talent,” recognizes the important contributions workers with disabilities make to our workplaces, communities, and economy.

At Transition & Adult Services (TAS), employment is an important part of what we do year-round. Through our Supported Employment Program, we help individuals with disabilities explore their interests and strengths, develop workplace skills, connect with employment opportunities, and receive individualized job coaching and ongoing support to help them succeed on the job.
This month, and every month, we are proud to celebrate the value, talent, hard work, and accomplishments of the individuals we support! 💙

Today, as our nation celebrates 250 years of independence, we reflect on the values that continue to shape our communities—freedom, compassion, opportunity, and belonging.

At IRL, we believe that every person deserves to be seen, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential. Together, we can build stronger, more inclusive communities where individuals of all abilities have the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

You’re invited to join us for the upcoming Almansor Blood Drive on Friday June 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Almansor campus inside the gym.
This is a great opportunity for our TES staff to come together with the Almansor community and support a life-saving cause. Every donation counts, and our goal is to reach 30 donors this year.
Everyone who donates blood will receive a $10 In-N-Out gift card as a thank-you for participating.
