Be encouraged the birds here are very active & are looking for mates, they must sense Spring is almost here. We really should use a bird prediction because a birdseye view sees way more than just its own shadow!

Finally! Started some seeds in one bed this weekend, and fed my baby onion plants homemade nitrogen ferment. Then I fed the left over Moringa and canna leaves from the ferment to my bananas.

How is everyone growing this Winter?

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I'm sharing a glimpse of our festive moments, captured during our traditional Christmas PJ photo shoot. Unfortunately, my son was feeling unwell during the photo, making a smile a bit elusive (his discomfort was due to some gas issues, and his autism makes verbal expression challenging 😞). He recovered soon after the photos. My husband was already changed, as we were still using our air conditioner due to the warm weather.

It was not an easy choice to make, but I had to make it. I needed to have an area for my raised beds. There is more change to come but, this one was one of the hardest emotionally. At least there are laughs and also moments of concern as you see me take on this challenge.
