We would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming support and messages received last week.

I want to confirm that we will continue with the training planned for August 31; however, a few changes have been made.

Training will be held at 120 N. Chaparral on the 2nd floor of the Municipal Court. Training times will be 9am - 3pm, lunch will be provided.

Our hearts and prayers go out to all members affected but know we will persevere in these difficult times.

The South Texas Chapter would like to extend our hearts and thoughts to all those affected by Hurricane Harvey; including Rockport, Port Aransas, Portland, Victoria and many other cities.

South Texas is strong and we will recover from the destruction of this event.

The South Texas Chapter is excited to announce ***FREE*** upcoming training opportunities to be held in November 2016.in Corpus Christi, TX and in Brownsville, TX!

Please be aware that all training hours earned are certified and can be used to obtain or maintain your Court Clerk Certification.

NOVEMBER 2ND : The training topics in Brownsville are (1) Juvenile and (2) Juveniles Now Adults on November 2nd from 9:00am – 1:00pm.

NOVEMBER 3RD: The training topics in Corpus Christi are (1) Legal Advice vs. Legal Information and (2) Indigence: Exploring Attitudes, Stereotypes, and Biases. There will be 2 time slots for you to choose to attend on November 3rd covering both topics from 8:00am – 12:00pm and 1:00pm – 5:00pm. Both topics will be covered in the morning and afternoon trainings – please choose one time slot.

This is a great learning opportunity!!

The TCCA South Texas Chapter Vice President, Roberto Baez, will be hosting the training in Brownsville and is excited to meet you, as am I for those of you attending the training in Corpus Christi!!
