✨ Honoring a pillar of Culture, Language, and Tradition: Happy Birthday to our Principal! ✨

Today, the East Indian Music Academy family celebrates the birthday of a woman who embodies the very essence of our heritage—our esteemed Co-Founder and Principal, Bharati Ramsamooj. 🎶📖🕉️

Bharati’s contribution globally is immeasurable. Beyond her visionary leadership of the Academy, she serves as a vital bridge to our roots as a dedicated Hindi Teacher. She doesn’t just teach a language; she unlocks the door to our scriptures, our poetry, and our identity, ensuring that the beauty of Hindi continues to resonate in the hearts of her students.

As a Cultural Ambassador of Dharma, she harmonizes the melody of the soul with the power of the spoken word, guiding us all toward a deeper understanding of our culture.

🌟 Celebrating Her Multi-Faceted Legacy:
• The Co-Founder: For her foundational vision and lifelong dedication.
• The Principal: For leading our institution with grace and excellence.
• The Vidushi: For her mastery in passing down the sacred gift of the Hindi language.
• The Pillar: For standing as a beacon of Dharma and tradition.

Principal Bharati, may your day be filled with the same joy, wisdom, and harmony that you have so selflessly shared with us for decades. We are forever grateful for your light. 🙏💐

The beauty of a child's smile when they hear or create music for the 1st time is unforgettable. The moment of curiosity can turn into passion, discipline, and self-expression.
At EIMA, we are proud to create a space where students of all ages are encouraged to explore music, embrace their culture, and discover their voice-one note at a time.

The Harmonium is a staple in Bhajans, Kirtans, and Ghazals—but did you know it wasn't originally from India? 🎹🌬️

While it’s a heart of Indian classical music today, it was actually brought over from Europe in the 19th century and adapted to fit our unique sitting style!

TEST YOUR KNOWLEDGE:
Watching the video, can you tell what provides the "power" or air for a traditional Indian Harmonium to sound? 💨

🅰️ Electric Fan
🅱️ Mouth-blown Pipe
🇨 Hand-pumped Bellows
🇩 Foot Pedals

Drop your answer (A, B, C, or D) below! 👇 We’ll reveal the full history in the comments tomorrow!

TAG A GURU: Tag the teacher or mentor who first showed you how to find your first note on the keys! 👤✨ Let’s celebrate the people who pass on the gift of music.
