For our last Sweetie Pi before we’re back on campus we are highlighting Synai Roman!
“Synai is someone who absolutely embodies what it means to be an AOII sister. She is smart, outgoing, determined, and genuinely cares about the people around her. She brings such a positive and welcoming energy to our chapter, and she has a way of making everyone feel included and valued.
One of the qualities I admire most about Synai is her loyalty to our chapter. She truly shows up for AOII and for the sisters around her, always putting in effort and being someone we can count on. She represents our values not only through her words, but through the way she treats others and carries herself every day.
Synai is the kind of person who makes our chapter stronger simply by being a part of it. Her kindness, dedication, confidence, and willingness to support others are just a few of the many reasons she is such a wonderful representation of what it means to be an AOII. I am so grateful to have her as a sister and cannot wait to see all the amazing things she continues to accomplish within our chapter! 🩷🌸” - Marissa Payne

For our first ever we are highlighting two peas in a pod: Lauren Gandy and Evie Finn!
“Lauren,
I can’t believe that I found my best friend for life at college, and it’s crazy to me that even though we’ve only known each other for about 2 years, it feels like forever. I’m so thankful for choosing Seton Hall because college wouldn’t be the same without you! I was so happy when we both got into AOII together as freshman. I remember on bid night, as soon as I opened up the envelope i immediately looked around for you and then when I realized we were sisters, I ran into your arms so excited for the new journey. We have so many fun memories including late night Starbucks runs, getting ready together for events, and immediately spilling the tea to each other in the UC. Thank you for always supporting me, always making me laugh, and never making me feel not loved. I know that no matter where life takes us, you’ll always be my best friend. I can’t wait to make new memories this upcoming junior year, Love you girl!” - Evie💕
“Evie was my first friend I made in college. From the moment I met her, Evie was the sweetest, kindest, and most genuine girl who brightened every room she entered. After going through formal recruitment, I was elated to find out that Evie and I had both found our forever homes in AOII. Since then, our newfound sisterhood has made Evie and I inseparable! I know I can rely on her when I need a shoulder to cry on, an adventure buddy, or a word of advice. I am so grateful that AOII has strengthen our bond!” - Lauren 💕

This month we would like to recognize the lovely Gia Cagnano!
“Gia is one the sweetest people you could ever meet. She has some of the best energy that brightens any room she walks into. She knew how to calm a stressful environment like recruitment with her comforting and upbeat spirit. Such a nerve wracking process became tranquil and no longer intimidating, with just one conversation. She is super talented and never shy to be herself and it is super contagious. One conversation with Gia immediately reassured me that I’d find a beautiful home here in AOII. I’m happy to call her my sister and can’t wait to see all she accomplished in her future 💕” - Adrianna

This month, we are recognizing one of the incredible members of the Officer Team, Jenna Dancsecs!
“Jenna Dancsecs is hardworking both in and out of AOII. One of the ways in which I’ve seen this is her dedication towards the COB process. She allowed for a welcoming atmosphere during this recruitment process because of her warmth and loving nature. Jenna is supportive, caring, and kind. She puts her whole heart in everything she does and never fails to do her best. Jenna demonstrates the organization’s values everyday. She is a truly amazing person and I am so proud to be her little.” - Mia Makar

Our sister Lucy had the incredible opportunity to attend Camp AOII this past weekend at the University of Georgia! Here is what she had to say about the experience:
“Camp AOII was a beautiful and unexpected opportunity for me and I am so glad my chapter encouraged me to apply and chose me to represent them! I learned so much about what goes into being a leader, a sister, and an AOII. From DEI to Ambition, my sisters and I shared ideas, solutions, vulnerability, and of course, sisterhood! Camp AOII sent me home with so much knowledge and drive to be the best version of myself for my chapter, and I will cherish the experience far beyond my undergraduate years. ALAM always ❤️🐼” - Lucy Balaam

Only been a little over a week since we’ve been apart and somehow our sisters are already the people we miss most!
Looking back at our spring photoshoot and feeling extra grateful for the friendships that turned ordinary moments into the best memories. So thankful for the girls who make this chapter feel like home, no matter what. Counting down the days until we’re all together again.
