Reading, Oral Language, and Writing Lab at SHU

Dr. Anthony Koutsoftas, director of the Reading, Oral Language, and Writing Lab (ROW-Lab) at Seton Hall University is conducting an implementation and feedback study about Project WILLD (Writing in students with language-based learning disabilities). Project WILLD is an intervention designed to improve writing outcomes in 4th and 5th grade students with language-based learning disabilities and those struggling with writing. Speech-language pathologists and special educators are invited to participate in this study which includes the following activities: (i) a screening & enrollment survey, (ii) accessing and using the Project WILLD intervention materials with students on caseload or in classroom; and (iii) completing Implementation and Feedback Surveys, every three months for one year from enrollment....

Dr. Anthony Koutsoftas and the ROW-Lab are seeking input about IEP team collaboration and development for a new project. We want to improve team relations and streamline goal writing for students in schools with IEPs for language and literacy difficulties. If you are a school-based speech-language pathologist, special educator, general educator, school psychologist, occupational or physical therapist, or guidance counselor, and want to provide input and learn more about the project, please complete this survey.
