JAULI was honored to visit Jose Marti STEM Academy in Union City to support Regreso a Clases by Univision. Hundreds of students poured in, got a backpack and learned about JAULI. Thank you GoyaFoods for the cookies and N+ UNIVISION NUEVA YORK for this wonderful event. We even met alums Jillian Lope '2017, 2019 and Logan Whitehead 2015!

Just in....."Rivera's two-day total of 111.950 was more than a point ahead of runner-up Claire Pease, making Rivera the first American woman not named Simone Biles to go back-to-back since former world and Olympic champion Jordyn Wieber did it in 2011 and 2012." Congratulations to the national champ! Now we have to update her poster...but here is the official unveiling for the exhibit. SIGUE LUCHANDO REINA!

Yesterday at The Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey (HBA-NJ), former Joseph A Unanue Latino Institite scholar Isabella Rivera and Seton Hall University School of Law student, Annette L. Espinoza, were selected from a competitive pool of applicants as scholarship recipients. We congratulate you both as you continue your journey to serve. We also give a standing ovation to Seton Hall University alumna, Class of 93, Camelia M. Valdes, who was honored with the Public Service Leader Award. Camelia frequently serves the students of the College of Arts and Sciences by motivating the next generation with her mentorship. Felicidades. We support and applaud the efforts of HBANJ and its members.

As we launch Women Veteran's Recognition Week, the Latino Veterans Of New Jersey recognized our own Colonel Marisol A. Chalas, MBA as the keynote speaker and honored her with the Shero award. Honored alongside several women service members, the Latino Veterans Of New Jersey and Vincent Solomeno, Commisioner of NJ Veteran Affairs, celebrated the sacrifices of these women and all women service members. Congratulations to all of the honorees.

They spoke about what makes JAULI so special.
