🥋 A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Larry Simons and Jason Stevenson! 🥋

After years of dedication and training, Larry and Jason successfully completed their Danzan Ryu Jujitsu Black Belt Test!

It was a long, grueling test that challenged them physically and mentally — and they both did an outstanding job. Earning a black belt is never just about one day. It represents the countless hours of training, perseverance, and commitment that led up to it.

A huge thank you to Kevin Schoenebeck, Shihan Russ Rhodes, and Bill Joseph for helping administer the test and making this milestone possible.

This was an incredibly proud moment not only for Larry and Jason, but also for Sorce Martial Arts. Both of these gentlemen aren’t just dedicated Danzan Ryu Jujitsu students — they are also instructors at our school, sharing their knowledge and helping the next generation of students grow.

🥋 Train with Shihan Russ Rhodes at Sorce Martial Arts!

We are excited to welcome Shihan Russ Rhodes for a special Danzan Ryu Ju Jitsu training seminar on Thursday, August 20, from 7:00–8:30 PM.

Shihan Rhodes is a 9th Dan Black Belt in Danzan Ryu Ju Jitsu and a 10th Dan in Ken Ju Ryu, his Kenpo Ju Jitsu system. This is an incredible opportunity to learn from an accomplished martial artist with decades of knowledge and experience.

The seminar is open to adult Sorce Martial Arts students and students from invited schools.

The seminar will follow the Danzan Ryu Black Belt Test for Larry Simons and Jason Stevenson, which takes place from 5:00–7:00 PM and is open to the public.
