Our commitment to South Florida is to meet the community's need for a career school by providing a nursing program to prepare working bedside nurses. Larkin School of Nursing is located at 6140 SW 70th Street, Miami, Fla. 33143 approximately less than ¼ of a mile from US 1. The building has 3 floors and encompasses over 9500 square feet of laboratories, classrooms and offices. Larkin School of Nursing has a library, student lounge, computer laboratory, medical laboratory, and an auditorium. Larking School of Nursing provides free parking and is located close to major public transportation. Equipment used at Larkin School of Nursing is comparable to industry standards and meets all program objectives.

Sepsis is a medical emergency — and every hour of delay increases risk. It can start from something as small as a cut or infection, so knowing the signs matters.

Remember T.I.M.E: Temperature, Infection, Mental decline, Extremely ill.

If you suspect sepsis, don't wait — call 911 or go to the ER and say the word "sepsis."

🎉 High school students participate in The Larkin Pathway: Summer Health Careers Program 2026 at Larkin University.🎉

Larkin University, in collaboration with Larkin Health System, was proud to welcome 26 high school students from 14 South Florida schools for a day of healthcare career exploration, mentorship, and hands-on learning.

Students participated in faculty panel discussions, networking with current Larkin students, and interactive and hands-on experiences in Pharmacy, Nursing, Dentistry, Physician Assistant Studies, and Medicine, including simulation lab demonstrations and pharmaceutical compounding activities.
Thank you to our deans, faculty, staff, student volunteers, program partners, and sponsor, AHEC, for helping inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals.
