When Pharrell Williams created a video to hype the MLB, he turned to the Frost School of Music. The video featured an orchestra of 25 students, alumni, and faculty performing alongside the Voices of Fire choir for the campaign.

Williams connection to our institution runs deep. Over a decade ago, he collaborated with the Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra on “i am OTHER,” later partnered on the documentary “Hydration,” and in 2023 earned his master’s in Music Industry from the Frost School.

Our impact also reaches into the world of sports. Led by Studio Jazz Writing Director, Stephen Guerra, student musicians have teamed up with other franchises like Florida Panthers by arranging their goal song “Panthers Pulse” and Inter Miami CF, by recording a tribute to celebrate Sergio Busquets’ signing.
