Arriving in the city of Reggio Emilia a few days before the beginning of a study tour allows for not only adjusting to the time zone differences, but beginning to immerse yourself into the local culture. Each time I am here, new things catch my attention. The Reggio Emilia approach to early education emerges from the culture of the city. A specific city, a specific context.
