Are you a parent or caregiver of a child who is 6-11 years old? Is your child sometimes irritable, angry, or moody? Do they occasionally have tantrums, outbursts, or other intense emotions?
If so, you and your child may be eligible to participate in the Real Time Understanding of Mood and Behavior in Everyday Life (RUMBEL) Study! You would both be asked to complete a series of assessments over a period of about 30 days. You and your child may be compensated up to $217.50 total for your time and efforts. Meet the CAB Lab continues! Denise Lopez-Sosa is our intrepid lab manager, and keeps the lab running on a daily basis with her positive spirit and dedicated work ethic. Denise just recently celebrated one year of working in the CAB Lab! We are so fortunate to work with Denise (and experience her banana bread Friday’s!).

The lab took a break this morning to celebrate the end of a fabulous year together! We’re just missing a few of our remote RA’s, but we are so grateful to have the chance to gather the team in Miami. What better way to celebrate the end of the year and kick off our summer!

Today’s senior spotlight goes to Will Riddle! Will is graduating with the UM class of 2022 with a major in Psychology and minors in Anthropology and Exercise Physiology. Will is also one of the first undergraduate research assistants to join the CAB Lab at UM!
After graduation, Will is planning to work as a post-baccalaureate research assistant before pursuing his graduate degree in Psychology. Will has made outstanding contributions to the CAB Lab, and we can’t wait to see what he’ll do next!

Today’s “Senior Spotlight” goes to Natalie Mastalerz! Natalie is graduating from UM with the class of 2022, majoring in Psychology with minors in Criminology and Sociology. After graduation, she plans to work in a post-baccalaureate research position before pursuing graduate school in Clinical Psychology.
Having worked in the CAB Lab since June 2021, Nat is one of our first UM undergraduate RA’s and we are so grateful for all the contributions she has made to the lab! Congratulations, Nat, and thank you for all your great work!
