We are incredibly proud of our PGY-3 Internal Medicine resident, Marvi Alais Surksha, MBBS, for presenting her research at the Society of Hematologic Oncology (SOHO) Annual Meeting! 🩺📊

Her poster, titled “Investigating National Trends and Geographic Disparities in Cardiovascular Disease–Related Mortality Among Older Adults With Hematologic Malignancies in the United States,” explores important nationwide trends at the intersection of hematology, oncology, and cardiovascular medicine.

Dr. Surksha is passionate about solving complex clinical problems, building meaningful relationships with her patients, and pursuing a future career in Hematology and Oncology. Outside the hospital, she enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, listening to music, exploring new places, and relaxing at the beach. 🌊📚✈️
