Okie Dockie friends also learn about Christmas! This week they got to decorate our classroom Christmas tree donated but one of our lovely families! 🎄🎄🎄

One of the best things I’m super proud of here, at Okie Dockie, is that our little community is so diverse. This gives us the opportunity to learn about others’ celebrations!

Exciting Learning and Fun at Okie Dokie Playgroup!

This week, our older friends have been exploring the theme of family! We’ve had heartfelt conversations about who’s in our family, how families can look different, and the love that connects us all.

They even got creative by painting their family members and making their very own family trees—a beautiful way to celebrate the people they love most!

Our younger friends have been enjoying the outdoors with lots of gross motor activities on the playground. Circle time has moved outside, where we’re singing morning songs and reading books in the fresh air!

They’re also learning important life skills like throwing their own dirty diapers in the trash after a diaper change and climbing the step stool to wash their hands. (And yes, we’re cheering them on every step of the way!)
