*Devotion : The children of God can know the intention of God towards them: the intention is good, one of peace to give them an expected end. The question is what is your expectation as a child of God? Is your expectation in sync with the scriptures? If your expectation is in line with God's Word then God will surely fulfill it. Since our God is a great God, let us have great expectations which are supported by the scriptures; and let us continue to declare these scriptures and see how God brings them to pass. *Title : Easy Battle.* 📚

*_"Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you. 2 Chronicles 20:17"_* 📖

*Devotion : There are different battles to fight as a child of God, but the good news is that it is not all these battles we should spend our time fighting. The opening scripture throws light on it; King Jehoshaphat was threatened by Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir. The LORD gave the king a strategy to raise singers to lead the king and his army to battle. When the singers began to worship God, God confounded the enemies to fight against themselves until they had destroyed themselves. The Christian is encouraged to develop a lifestyle of praise and worship so the Lord can fight for you. Our battles are easy because the battles are the LORD's and not ours. *Title : No Excuse Is Allowed.* 📚

*Devotion : Jesus Christ is truly a role model for the world; He was dying on the cross and yet was able to save one criminal who acknowledged his sins and asked for mercy. There are many people who will never look for an opportunity to save someone when they themselves are experiencing need or affliction. However, Jesus has given us a new order to look for avenues to save others even if we may be going through trials. Jesus Christ has never given any excuse whatsoever to the Father and will not entertain excuses from His children. Therefore, if you are a Christian, say, "No to any excuse to save the lost."*

*_"And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. 1 John 4:16"_* 📖

*Devotion : It is one thing to study the scriptures and another to have fellowship or experience the scriptures. In other words, it is one thing to read about the Lord Jesus Christ and another thing to have fellowship or experience him. Apostle John believed the love of God because he had experienced this true love, therefore, he could boldly testify about it. He got to know about the nature of God; that is, God is love. Now he testifies that anyone who dwells or walks in love dwells in God and God in him. This has therefore become one of the standards to measure who truly is a Christian. Any person who claims to be a Christian and walks in love is a true Christian. On the other hand anyone who claims to be a Christian and does not walk in love is not a Christian but a charlatan. *Devotion : The opening scripture has thrown light on two different times: God's time and man's time. God lives in eternity but man lives in time; God is not limited by time but man is. He makes all things beautiful in His time. If we have this consciousness in us and submit our time to God's time, we will experience and enjoy the beautiful things He has in store for us. The children of God will never rush in life if they walk in the consciousness of God's time. Jesus is the alpha and the omega; He knows the beginning and the end of everything. Dear reader, do you want to know the beginning and end of something that is bothering your mind? Go to Jesus Christ in the person of the Holy Spirit.*

*Devotion : One nature of God is that He is good; He even gives rain and sunshine to everyone due to His goodness. His mercy truly is everlasting; since the day of Adam and Eve to this present age, His mercy is still active. His truth which is His Word transcends all generations. Goodness, mercy, and truth are all the nature of God. The Lord cannot change: He cannot stop doing good, showing mercy, speaking and living the truth. As children of God and partakers of His divine nature, let us imitate God by doing good, showing mercy, speaking and living the truth.*

*Devotion : The language that God communicates is very vital in understanding the scriptures. Jesus Christ sees those who die in him as sleeping (John 11:11); the reason is that He sees eternal life in them, therefore, they are not dead but alive. Believers should embrace the language of God and refrain from weeping and wailing for the dead in Christ as though they have no hope. In Christ, death is a choice because the just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17).*

*Devotion : The apostle Paul wanted the saints in Thessalonica to develop the attitude of always loving to commune with God. He also wanted them to know that prayer is a lifestyle and not an event. Finally, the apostle Paul wanted them to know that the Holy Ghost is always looking forward to meeting them at the point of prayer. God is never tired of listening to His children's prayers. In fact, the prayers of His children are like incense (Psalms 141:2). The children of God need to feast on prayer: prayer should be enjoyed and looked forward to. *_"Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Ephesians 3:20"_* 📖

*Devotion : The Holy Spirit is in us and at work in us; we must be conscious of His working in us. He is the power at work in us. The question is what do we ask and how do we ask it? Another question is what do we think? If what you ask and how you ask are not approved by the Word of God, God will not do them; likewise if what you think is not sanctioned by the Word of God, God will not do it. This is simply because the power at work in us works hand in hand with God. Dear reader, is what you are asking God approved by Him? Is your thought the thought of God? If they are of God, then Jesus Christ will do abundantly above them. Hallelujah!*

*Title : The devil's weapon.* 📚

*_"And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them; Deuteronomy 20:3"_* 📖

*Devotion : There is an unceasing battle with the devil and his cohorts of darkness when a person becomes born again. However, God Has armed His children to quench all the fiery darts of the enemy. One of the weapons of the enemy is fear. To overcome fear is to have faith in God and in the saving power of our Lord Jesus Christ. Never tremble, faint, be terrified of or fear the enemy because he has been defeated by our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. James 4:7 says, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Dear reader, do you sometimes get frightened? Don't fear but resist the devil in the name of Jesus Christ and he will flee from you. God bless you.*
