My love for science education drove me to change careers from Wildlife Biology to teaching in 2010. I have a Nevada single-subject teaching license and 10 years of experience teaching preschool-college age students. My teaching philosophy is based on the belief that everyone has the ability to practice the art of science, and that many scientific processing skills are inherent to the human spirit.

I meet each student where they are, target their needs, and find creative ways to help them channel their inner scientist.
