Keeping with tradition of South Kent School students having a voice to tell their stories of campus life, coupled with the world of digital technology and communications, the Cardinal News Network was created. The Digital Communications classes regularly produce multimedia story packages that offer a student view of life on the Hillside and published on the online publication, the Cardinal News Ne

twork. Often collaborated with writers from The Pigtail student newspaper, students develop their own story ideas, research and report to “tell the story” in text, video and stills.

Over 100 people in Kent will be helped through our donations to the Kent Food Bank through South Kent School Feeds the Need. Stop by Kent's Davis IGA on Kent Green today (Saturday) 9am-12pm. This is the second year SKS students are helping the Kent Food Bank. This was the group of students in 2022.

South Kent School is helping those less fortunate in our town by contributing to the Kent Food Bank. Students really stepped up with their donations this week. Over $200 was collected that allowed Graeme R. and Perscis S. to do a shopping trip last night to purchase needed items. Anyone with more items, non-perishable food and hygeine products or cash donations, can bring them to Brown Gym tonight during IBL games.
