🌿 Wellness Wednesday 🌿

It’s Wellness Wednesday, and we’re not just here to drop tidbits — but since you asked… here are a few to get you moving:

🧠 Tidbit #1: Movement boosts brain power — even 15 minutes of play helps kids focus and learn better.
💪 Tidbit #2: Running, jumping, and tagging build coordination and confidence.
💚 Tidbit #3: Laughter counts as exercise too. 😉

Now put those tidbits into action and join us for Young Athletes Field Day at the 2026 Fall Sports Classic!

📍 Salt Lake Academy, Herriman
🗓 Saturday, November 8
🕥 10:30 – 11:30 AM
👧🏽 Ages 2–7

Obstacle courses, flag tag, fun prizes, and healthy snacks — it’s a perfect way to move, play, and grow together!

✨ Movement is medicine. Play is progress. Inclusion is wellness. ✨

The Utah Developmental Disabilities Council and the Utah Parent Center are excited to announce that they have opened the next round of adaptive boxing for Fall 2025.

Classes begin on Monday, October 20, 2025, and will run for six weeks. Sessions will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Brickyard Boxing and Conditioning in Millcreek.

Come and learn the basics of boxing, get your body moving, and be prepared to sweat while having a lot of fun! This is a non-contact class as they will only be hitting bags and mitts.

To register for the class please scan the QR code on the flyer. If you have any questions about the class you can reach out to Julie. You can reach her by email at [email protected] or you can call her at 385-408-6689.
