My very first 4.0 ✨🤧😉
Unlike their mom, all of my kids have gotten really good grades. One put in virtually no consistent effort and one puts in minimal effort. Both equaled honor roles.
But this one? This 4.0 puts in max effort. Always. Homework virtually every single day. Teacher communication, re taking tests, re doing assignments, going in early and staying after. Maximizing extra credit, and effort. Nothing could ever make me more proud. Just to do your best. Whatever your version of that is. This little sweetie is always the best version of whatever she needs to be. She works so hard and cares so much and not for anyone but herself. She just quietly goes about doing good. I can’t imagine a better quality.

The best boy I could have ever dreamed up is turning 15 today. I wish I could bottle my motherhood with him up and sell it. It would be worth billions.
Here are the 15 things that I currently love about my precious little Jack Ryan Pond.
15. His happy happy happy nature literally 100 percent of the time.
14. His desire to do what’s right.
13. His desire to be bigger faster stronger than Ryan.
12. How he never asks me for help with his homework. And gets good grades.
11. Somehow I love his absolute inability to effectively execute laundry from start to finish. He gets that from me.
10. His cute eyes
9. How hard he laughs at every single new Instagram reel that his thumbs swipes up on.
8. His love of his buddies. He’s got the best ones.
7. His love of steak. He thinks he likes it rare. But he actually likes it medium. And it’s just fun to watch your kids figure stuff out huh.
6. How he can watch and learn any sports play or detail unfold with eagle eyes and laser sharp focus. But requires explicit instruction a few times over for helping in the garage. Ya know. He gets that from his dad.
7. His panicked face when he thinks he’s in trouble. He’s never actually in trouble. It’s because of his ability to panic and course correct fast. He’s an obedient one.
6. I don’t love it but he does. His brain rot humor. Is it a sign of intelligence or lack of? I can’t seriously tell.
5. His love of church. He just came that way.
4. His hygiene. He hasn’t gone a morning without a shower or a night without brushing his teeth in years. I’m literally grateful.
3. I love to watch him handle his emotions when his sports teams lose. We’re used to losing with our teams. But this year he took the close losses w little to no issue. I hate it when men/boys take that too seriously, so I love this about Jack. And Ryan!
2. His work ethic. Between TAT, Vasa, our garage, the Cowley’s back yard, the Deans batting cage, the academy, meal prepping, his motivational books, or his prayers the kid has been working his butt off this off season. And I don’t give that title easily.

There’s absolutely nothing in your life that you can hope, pray, wish, work for and want more than this. A good man to take care of your daughter.
Not just kind of care. But care with every fiber of his being. It’s truly not anything I’ve ever seen from a young man.
It’s been a privilege to be a part of. From their first date in 2017 to the proposal yesterday, he’s the best guy for my girl. Like. I’m seriously sorry. I just can’t say it enough. He’s the best. I feel SO lucky.
8 years together with not a single break up and barley a fight. They are BEST of friends. With eachother AND with eachother’s family. It’s ALL I’ve ever dreamed of. And all we’ve ever known. I couldn’t be more grateful or more excited than I am for and . I love you both to the moon and back!! And I’m SO THANKFUL that my Facebook group post was something we will never have to consider ever ever again!! 😭😭

If you want a happy life marry someone who is happy.
This is the best advice I could give anyone. When you are married to someone who is habitually happy, there’s not a lot you can’t conquer together. (Lucky helps too)

The baby is 13. Normally i wouldn’t be able to stand the thought. But sienna is still just so much my baby, I can survive the thought.
She’s big. And she’s little. And oh so fun!
Here are the 13 things I currently love about my little N***y n***y chicken dinny.
13. On multiple occasions I’ve heard sienna only offer an audible “oof” while everyone around her is crashing out for one reason or another. She rarely contributes to chaos.
12. Her sweet good friends and her love of them.
11. How she thinks football looks easy and knows for sure she could “score several touchdowns” if given the chance.
10. The personality all her own that emerges more and more every day. Not loving the complication of her on her way to being a vegetarian. But I love the individuality.
9. How she falls asleep in 13 seconds flat. At bedtime, in a car, in a plane. She’s a good sleeper.
8. The entertainment quality of her night terrors. 🫠
7. How much she loves and takes full stewardship of her very intimidating cat.
6. How similar she is to her cat.
5. Her hilarious under her breath one liners.
4. The incredible amount of effort she puts in to her school work. She’s a determined not defeated type gal. It makes me proud.
3. How physically and mentally tough she is. A complaint is rarely ever heard from her.
2. That’s because she usually ensures she gets what she wants through her tireless, relentless, incessant determination to create the life she wants.
1. My number one thing I love about 13 year old Sienna Geniel Pond is how special our little relationship is. I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again. She’s not just dealing out her love to anyone. So if you have it from her, you’ve earned it, and it’s a true treasure.

It’s a big day!
is finally catching up to me in age!!
Happy birthday to the true queen of all queens. She may be the only woman I’ve ever met that is confident enough to have allowed Eric and I (and mostly Tatum!) live such an incredible life all together! I’m bawling even writing that! We’ve had so much fun together! Not just tolerating but actually loving and enjoying blending our families together. And let’s be honest none of it would’ve happened if she hadn’t allowed it. She is the single most pivotal person in this equation. If she had put up boundaries, I would’ve honored them. I’m a girls girl. No matter who it is. But I’m so so grateful she never required that of me. I love her to freaking death. I love her kids, and I love everything about her except for her president.. :) we’ve always had so much in common (minus the hair color and one whole foot of inches:)) We have had memories that will last us a lifetime! It’s all a humongous thanks to her! Happy Birthday 40th birthday you are getting so old!! You are one of a kind and I’m so glad to have you in all of our lives!! Thanks for being the best of the best! Let’s join an MLM together again!
