Is your child struggling with reading? We build, confidence, fluency, comprehension and decoding skills. Assessment $40.00. $20.00 a lesson, 2 times a week. Online or in person (South Jordan, Utah)

Summer reading/tutoring classes start June 14-July 30. If your child is struggling or needs help with reading I would love to help your child get back on track. I also teach students that are in the beginning journey of reading. I have an amazing phonics program that will have your child reading in no time at all.
I love my job and teaching live in my classroom at my home in South Jordan, Utah or online anywhere you are. My online platform is amazing and all my students love it.

I have been blessed with the time to put my program online and was able to meet so many wonderful families all over the United States. I’ve been working on making my program as engaging online as I have for my live students. Helping children to become confident readers also helps them to be successful in all the areas of their education.

Happy Friday everyone!

My post today is about the difference a parent can make with helping your child read. Parents make a huge difference! It’s never too early to read to your child. This exposes them to our language and builds their vocabulary. When children hear stories, it builds the imagination. They start to have an imagination of what they think and feel about the story. Then when they start learning to read, they want to be just like you and read the big books. This helps motivate and gives them a love for books. Surrounding your home with books tells your child they are important.
Now that your child is learning to read, they need your support. They want you to listen to them, like they listened to you. As you listen to your child read, you are building their confidence. You are spending quality time with your child and bonding together. They will grow up with fond memories of their reading times with you.
The more a child reads the smarter they become. They are learning about different situations and people and personalities. They are understanding more vocabulary words by reading it in different sentences.
Reading also calms a child and reduces stress. It helps their mind to relax and focus on their reading. They are able to imagine themselves in the story and enjoy going to different places as they read.
I’m very passionate about reading and the importance it has in our child’s lives.
That the time to find a comfy place with a pillow and soft blanket and cuddle up with your child and enjoy a good book.

I'm so excited to let everyone know I have more openings available for tutoring. My daughter Destiny will be teaching with me this summer. She has finished her first year of college towards her teaching degree. She already knows my program as she went through it herself. She has also watched and helped me in many area's over the years. We will be a great team together helping more children become successful readers.

If you know anyone that is looking for some help with their children and reading please let them know. We can help get them on grade level and become confident readers.

Due to Covid-19 and children already losing important learning time at school and now another 3 months of summer break. That is a total of 1/2 a year where children have not had much learning. We are here to help fill that gap so your child is ready once school resumes. We have put our entire program online, so you can do it right from your home. If you need our services please call 720-243-3122 so we can get you signed up. Classes start the week of June 8th for the summer. You can join anytime during the summer.
