Happy Apple Preschool

Enrollment is open for the new preschool year and I have a few spots in my afternoon class still available!

I am a licensed, in home preschool that provides a fun and welcoming experience filled with hands-on learning, creativity, and play-based activities to help children grow socially, emotionally, and academically. I am always happy to answer questions or give tours of the preschool.

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS Class of 2026! You did it!

I am so proud of each of these sweet kids and how much they’ve learned, grown, and accomplished this year. It has been such a joy to watch their personalities shine and confidence grow. I love them all and will always have a special place in my heart for each and every one! ❤️

We’ve been getting ready for summer in preschool! We matched ice cream letters, remembered our favorite preschool memories, and played with the parachute! We also put together pattern popsicles, made a summer swimming craft, and played outside with bubbles! I can’t believe we only have one more day of preschool before graduation! Please do your best to not miss our last day of school and let me know if you need a reminder of the graduation details!

The end of the school year is almost here and we are getting ready!! This past week we reviewed our letters by reading Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, playing a few different alphabet games, and making coconut tree name crafts! We reviewed numbers by counting to 100 as a class, going on a number hunt, and making number worms with stickers! We also practiced our graduation songs and finished our Mother’s Day gifts!

With only a few days left of school, please do your best to have your preschooler attend! We are finishing up testing and practicing for graduation everyday! Thank you!!

“Fun at the farm!”

This week we practiced our fine motor skills by lacing farm animal cards! We also counted wool on sheep, made chicken egg names, and got pigs muddy by writing letters on them! We ended the week with a super fun field trip to the farm! Little Buckaroo Petting Zoo at Gardner Village took us on an incredible tour of their farm, helped us interact with all of the animals, and even gave us a train ride!! Everyone had a blast!

“Z is for zoo!”

Zoo week is one of my favorites in preschool, we always have so much fun! We worked on our fine motor skills by making zebra puppets and lion faces! We fed letters to hungry zoo animals, rotated through a few math and literacy centers, and graphed and counted animal cookies! To wrap up the week we took a pretend trip to the zoo and colored zoo animal masks!

“Y is for Yummy and Yucky!”

We had so much fun exploring opposites this week! We matched black lowercase letters with white uppercase letters, played matching games with opposites, and created a big and small collage. We also got LOUD and quiet with instruments, counted and compared links to see whose was short or long, and had a blast playing stop and go!

If you haven’t turned in your field trip slip for the farm, please try to do that this week!

“X is for X-ray!”

Community Helpers Week was a big hit in our classroom! We talked all about the many different jobs we can have when we grow up and colored fun flip books. We practiced our counting skills by building towers with blocks, mailed ABC letters to work on our literacy, and made garbage trucks out of shapes. We ended the week exploring dramatic play centers where we got to pretend to be different community helpers. It was such a hands-on and exciting week of learning!

‼️July’s Summer camp is FULL, but June and August still have openings!
