Happy Apple Preschool Licensed in-home preschool that helps your child prepare for kindergarten and learn to love to learn! I’m so excited to also offer book clubs for ages 6-9!

My name is Candice Randall and I have loved teaching my entire life. My mom taught preschool in our home for 20 years so I loved learning from and helping her whenever I got the opportunity. I have over 10 years of experience teaching at various preschools and working at several daycare centers. I’ve been teaching out of my home for years and love it more every year! At Happy Apple Preschool I focus on not only getting your child ready for kindergarten, but also on helping them with social skills and learning to love to go to school! For only $40 per month, your child can come over once a week and read a story together, do some writing, and have some fun! This is also a great way for your child to work on their reading and comprehension skills!

“D is for dinosaur!”

This past week in preschool we went on a dinosaur hunt, hatched dinosaur eggs, created our own dinosaurs out of shapes, counted beads while working on our fine motor skills, dug for fossils that had letters on them, and much more!

Fall break is October 19th-22nd. Packets were sent home with a few activities so that your preschooler can continue their learning at home! I hope you have a great week off and I will see you all on the 26th and 27th!

We also practiced letter recognition and sounds by feeding letter cookies to a hungry mouse, counted chocolate chips, painted cookies with pom poms, sorted cookie shapes, and ended the week by making our names with mini cookies!

We’ve been getting ready for summer in preschool! We matched ice cream letters, remembered our favorite preschool memories, and played with the parachute! We also put together pattern popsicles, made a summer swimming craft, and played outside with bubbles! I can’t believe we only have one more day of preschool before graduation! Please do your best to not miss our last day of school and let me know if you need a reminder of the graduation details!

The end of the school year is almost here and we are getting ready!! This past week we reviewed our letters by reading Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, playing a few different alphabet games, and making coconut tree name crafts! We reviewed numbers by counting to 100 as a class, going on a number hunt, and making number worms with stickers! We also practiced our graduation songs and finished our Mother’s Day gifts!

With only a few days left of school, please do your best to have your preschooler attend! We are finishing up testing and practicing for graduation everyday! Thank you!!
