We’re going back to our roots — but with a renewed purpose. Now operating as a nonprofit organization, we are committed to making affordable child care and comprehensive family support services accessible to our community.

Today we had a ceremony to celebrate the beginning of construction of our new child care center. When completed, Bright Beginnings Academy will be licensed to accommodate approximately 75 children. Bright Beginnings Academy is a for-profit corporation founded by Astrid and Irma Arias in 2015. The child care program’s primary service is educational and development support for children ages six months to eight years old and their families in the South Jordan community.

Work closely with Director to plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum. Ensure and maintain the quality of the program and that it meets licensing requirements. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, supervision of children, lesson planing, school transportation, tutoring, and daily attendance. Performs other duties as required by Director. Schedule is: 1pm (or 2pm) - 5pm.

Needs to pass a background check. All staff must become CPR/First Aid certified.

Hello everyone!
A good friend of mine opened her very own bilingual child care program in Daybreak (by Biscotts Bakery & Cafe). I gave her my curriculum, schedule and everything else she needed to start up her own business. South Jordan In-Home Child Care 🌞 I run my program as if it was a center, except we don’t have a lot of children like centers do or charge a lot of money; we have a small group of 12 kids and a teacher ratio of 4:1. We have limited openings for Toddlers and Preschoolers ages 2 to 5. Child care subsidies are accepted. Siblings discount offered.
