He is just about 3 months in to a competition prep and down a little more than 20lbs so far!
Heβs extremely coachable and does the homework that I give him for posing and changing up his form in the gym!
We still have work to do, but acknowledging our progress and success along that way is what makes this journey enjoyable!

All right guys, Iβm gonna make this as simple as possible. If you donβt like what youβre eating, youβre not actually going to eat it.
If you like pasta, find a way to have an appropriate amount of pasta every day.
If you like bread, find the appropriate amount to have every day for your goals.
If you donβt like chicken, find another protein source to eat instead of chicken.
And if you donβt like broccoli, then donβt eat broccoli.
Keep it simple and stop complicating it. Enjoying and sustaining equals results kept long term.

We worked together for a years time and in that time he lost 4lbs total, but lost a whopping 7% body fat and gained 12lbs of lean mass!!

It really is not complicated.
Eat less than you burn, move in a way thatβs enjoyable, eat foods you find enjoyable and be consistent at it.
This is the magic pill.
This is what I do as a coach.
I help people find a nutrition plan they enjoy, thatβs at an appropriate caloric deficit and includes a correct amount of activity for what they want to look like. Then I have them check in weekly to hold them accountable and help them stay consistent.
