You’ve grown into someone with a strong work ethic, a kind heart, and a determination that inspires me every day. Watching you take on new responsibilities, chase your goals, and navigate life with confidence has been one of the greatest privileges of being your dad.

Sixteen isn’t just another birthday—it’s the beginning of new adventures, greater independence, and opportunities to create your own path. My hope for you is that you always remember who you are, stay true to your values, and never stop believing in your potential.

Know that no matter how old you get, I’ll always be cheering you on, standing beside you, and loving you unconditionally.

So Proud of my daughter Lake… she’s a rock star in everyway. Relentless in her academics and gymnastics and everyday life. Always proud and lucky to be her Dad!

A very strong encouragement for any parent with kids, husbands, wives, family, to go and see this movie. It will change your perspective in so many ways and have you in tears. A true modern day Rocky but better. So grateful for courage and resilience and inspiration he truly is to the world. Up here the line between earth and heaven disappears. I was just driving to my cabin today, then the mountains hit different, the sky cracked open, and suddenly I knew I was in the middle of something sacred. I must’ve crossed a line I didn’t see. One moment it was a dirt road, and the next, heaven had already begun. My cabin = my center point.

Today I don’t just celebrate fireworks and flags.
I celebrate the freedom to raise my children in a land where their voices matter. Where they can speak boldly, worship openly, fail and rise again.
Where they can dream wildly and build bravely on the shoulders of those who paid the price before us.
Freedom isn’t perfect.
It’s hard won. It’s messy. It’s responsibility.
But damn, it’s worth protecting.
Because every night I tuck my kids in under a roof of liberty, I’m reminded:
There are fathers in this world who don’t get that privilege.
So today, I stand grateful.
Grateful for those who fought.
Grateful for the right to lead my family in faith, in truth, in love.

I watched a stepdad show up to every game for a son who wasn’t his by blood. He tied cleats, packed lunches, wiped tears and never once asked for credit. But for what it took to even earn that moment.

Let’s talk about it:
• There are over 20,000 Level 9 gymnasts across the country.
• Only 16 states are included in the Western Region.
• From those, just the top 7 athletes per age division per region are invited.
• That means fewer than 120 gymnasts in the entire western U.S. qualify for this meet.
• That’s the top 0.5%.

You’re not just one of them—you belong there.
Because you earned every single step with your blood, sweat, focus, discipline, and grit.

Was it the perfect meet? Maybe not.
But perfection isn’t what defines greatness.
Greatness is showing up, standing tall, competing with heart—and never quitting.
And that’s what you did.

She met Aaliyah Finnegan, a 2024 Paris Olympian. A real-life reminder that greatness isn’t just on TV—it’s standing right in front of you. Achievable. Reachable. Real.
