Did you know our state has Early Learning Standards that guide the skills children are building in preschool?

These standards outline important skills across social-emotional development, literacy, math, science, and more—but they don’t call for worksheets or rushed academics. They describe what meaningful, age-appropriate learning looks like.

A teacher who truly understands the standards can design play-focused experiences that intentionally build those skills in ways that honor how young children learn best🌱
