■ AJTL’s vigorous team is made up of seasoned faculty members for recognized colleges, entrepreneurs, leadership gurus, and an internationally-renowned dons in leadership positions. ■ AJTL’s Advisory Board for Leadership Development provides input and guidance to the strategic direction of programming of our operational structures; shares personal expertise and networks to assist toward meeting strategic goals; and enhance the intellectual capacity to expedite program relevancy. CORE OBJECTIVES
■ As a matter of importance, AJTL partners and collaborates with relevant experts to facilitate forums on effective practice of leadership. Core forum objectives aim at identifying leadership imperfections of the past; evaluating the leadership practice of today and creating opportunities for tomorrow’s leadership effectiveness. AJTL liaises and partners with relevant institutions to inspire training of aspiring leaders to create learning opportunities for aspiring leaders and managers. WHO WE SERVE
■ The success of leadership is not negotiable in a world characterized by situational challenges. The rapidity of global interconnectedness transcends industries, boundaries, and geographic locations and set new challenges and standards for effective leadership. In the current era, leaders would confront unparalleled challenges which would require critical thinking aptitudes, innovation and other relevant traits to overcome. Through routine research, academic programs, and training, AJTL promotes a more inclusive understanding of leadership, serving student-leaders, leadership and management doctoral scholars, political leaders, policy makers, business and organizational leaders, and others who facilitate the subject or discipline of leadership. PURPOSE STATEMENT
AJTL’s Mission and Core Objectives directs the teaching of exploration of the most fundamental elements of leadership as it reflects a constant interaction of the leaders, the followers, and the adjoining contexts. The aforementioned Mission and Core Objectives are concomitant with other substantial purpose statements;
■ Development of leaders whose accomplishments would enrich the meaning and quality of the lives they touch
■ Facilitate the sharing of knowledge of leadership for a greater society.
■ Encourage a creation and development of innovative high quality learning environments and provide an integrated program on effective leadership for aspiring leaders.
