Our high school was excited to host 5th graders from across the district for a day of teamwork and fun. Through student-led activities focused on collaboration and problem-solving, our student leaders developed important communication and leadership skills while helping future students feel welcome.

What started as a precalculus project turned into a colorful display now brightening our cafeteria. Students used Desmos to recreate original designs and favorite images, applying concepts like transformations, translations, domain restrictions, and more to bring their ideas to life.

After completing their digital designs, students transformed them into stained-glass-style artwork using glue, paint, and food coloring. The finished pieces are now hanging in the cafeteria, each featuring a QR code that shares more about the student artist and their creative process.

Students in Environmental Science, Biotechnology, and AP Biology came together to plant our new pollinator garden. This project will help support local pollinators like bees and butterflies while creating a beautiful space for our school community to enjoy.

From preparing the soil to planting each flower, students worked together to make a lasting impact on our campus and local ecosystem. We can't wait to watch the garden grow and see the difference it makes in the seasons ahead! 🐝

Health and Wellness students stepped out of the classroom and onto the new Ed Fund climbing tower, where teamwork, communication, and leadership were put into practice in a whole new way. Whether planning their next move, supporting their group, or navigating the climb itself, students learned firsthand how trust and collaboration can help a team reach new heights.

Today, students connected with professionals from a wide range of careers, asking questions, hearing personal stories, and gaining insight into life beyond the classroom. These experiences help students explore new interests, discover potential career paths, and better understand the many opportunities available to them.

Thank you to our volunteer speakers for helping make those connections possible. Your willingness to share your experiences gave our students something valuable: a clearer picture of what could be ahead.

The Candlelight Ceremony gave seniors a chance to reflect on how far they’ve come and look ahead to what’s next. 🕯️

Through thoughtful speeches from both students and staff, the evening celebrated the accomplishments, growth, and memories that have shaped the Class of 2026 throughout their time at the Regional. As each senior lit a candle, it symbolized the bright futures they are preparing to step into and the impact they will continue to make beyond our school community.

The ceremony served as a meaningful reminder of the connections, lessons, and experiences that have brought this class to this moment.

HW seniors have been giving back through Seniors Helping Seniors, spending time helping senior citizens around town with chores, yard work, and everyday household tasks 🙌

While lending a hand, students also built meaningful connections with members of the community, bringing together people of different ages through simple acts of kindness and conversation.

Programs like this show the compassion, character, and willingness to give back that continue to make HW students a positive part of the community both in and out of school

From classrooms to careers 💼💰 Our junior class spent the day at Salem State becoming “professionals with paychecks” while learning real-world money management through this interactive experience hosted by the Institution for Savings. A fun and valuable day preparing for the future!

The school community came together for a meaningful Memorial Day assembly as we welcomed veterans to our school. Many of our students have family members who have served in the military, reminding us of the strong connections we share through sacrifice, courage, and dedication. This Memorial Day, we honor and remember all veterans who gave their lives for our country. 🇺🇸

Prom at Cruiseport Gloucester was a night we’ll never forget ✨

A night filled with music, dancing, laughter, and memories that will last long after the lights dim. From time spent with friends to unforgettable moments on the dance floor, this year’s prom was one to remember.

As another prom season comes to a close, and seniors celebrate their final one, we’re looking back on an incredible night by the water with the HW community 💙
