Celine Falcón-Geist ’25 has spent the last seven months in Senegal as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant, teaching adults and children while building connections across languages and cultures.
From leading conversation clubs to creating engaging lessons inspired by her work at Mount Holyoke, Celine is carrying forward the spirit of purposeful leadership that connects generations of Mount Holyoke alums.

No amount of rain could dampen the joy of Reunion II's Alum Parade! 💙
“How lucky I was. How lucky I am.”
Those words from Barbara Knafel Scherlis, class of 1946, touched hearts across Reunion I and Reunion II. In a surprise video message, Barbara reflected on the lifelong connections, opportunities and memories that began at Mount Holyoke and continue today. Whether you were on campus this year or celebrating from afar, her message is a reminder of the bonds, love of learning and inspiring faculty relationships that link generations of Mount Holyoke alums.

Last Saturday, generations of alums enthusiastically celebrated the class of 2026 in the beloved Laurel Parade. 🌿 These red pegasi, purple phoenixes and teal owls now join our worldwide network of nearly 40,000 alums.
