These days, my distinction between gender euphoria and everyday euphoria is blurring. It's a nice feeling.

I had such a restorative experience at Mount Holyoke College's Building On Our Momentum (BOOM!) Community Day in South Hadley, MA. The student and professional staff of continue to inspire with all they do in service of our interconnected and collective liberation. I had a great time facilitating a Pronouns 101 workshop for faculty, staff, and students, which focused on learning about pronouns from all angles and taking time to practice using new-to-you pronouns respectfully.

My cup was also filled by the incandescent , whose invitation to cherish the "both/and" of our beautiful trans lives led me to tears (thrice, I'll admit). She's coming out with a new book soon, so like, pre order that from your local bookstore. 😉

Speaking of, what would a trip to Western Mass be without a quick bookstore go-round? Major thanks to Comics n' More, Broadside Bookshop, Book Moon, and Odyssey Bookshop for provisioning me with material to keep this momentum going.

I'll also point out that is doing Good Work to resist the homegrown transphobia cropping up in Western Mass via both direct action & fundraising for . So stop by their spot to grab some stickers and a plan to make Western Mass a better place! They're also now connected with so, you know, get you a local bookshop that can do it all. 😘

Reflecting today and forever on the lessons Dr. King organized around! What are you reading to orient yourself with his legacy today?

Martin Luther King's Radical Anticapitalism King’s vision for civil disobedience cannot be separated from his anticapitalism and his concern with the “evil” of poverty.

An important mini-lesson on the importance of dialogue in the process of reconciliation and redress. As we journey into the new year, how will you be engaging in intentional conversation? What topics do you want to talk about and get to the bottom of?

CW: Conversations involving violence against Native & Indigenous women.

On the theme of reflecting on different facets of our complicity in settler colonialism, today I'd like to share the webpage for the Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women. This organization provides a wide range of introductory information and resources to address the epidemic of violence against and erasure of Native and Indigenous Women.

MMIW MMIW – Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women 4 out of 5 of our Native women are affected by violence today. The U.S Department of Justice found that American Indian women face murder rates that are more than 10 times the national average. Homicide is the 3rd leading cause of death among 10-2...

National Day of Mourning Reflects on Thanksgiving’s Horrific, Bloody History 11/28/2019

Today is the National Day of Mourning. Though I find myself on land taken from the Lenape today, I do much of my work in the region steward by the Nonotuck people- neighbors to the Wampanoag mentioned here.

Take time today to consider the legacies of the broken promises which founded this nation. Millions of indigenous and Native populations were displaced by war, disease, and other incidents of violence. Even today, these communities face rampant abuses by a myriad of social systems (both public and private).

One important step to the work of collective liberation is naming and recognizing past harms. Today, reflect on these histories of the people of the land you're on. And in your own growth journey, consider: how are you going to interrupt the moments of forgetting this shared past of violence? How does your work invite in Native and Indigenous voices and perspectives? Over the next few days, I'll be sharing further posts about Native activisms and movements- stay tuned!
