Congratulations on a successful 5th Annual MHC Film Festival to all of our filmmakers, actors, and participants!
This is a new tradition that we look forward to every year as films from classes and individual works showcase the incredible talent of our department and school.
From first ideas to final cuts, this year’s festival was filled with creativity, collaboration, late nights, and so much talent.
So proud of every student who shared their work and brought their stories to the screen. Thank you to everyone who helped make the festival so special — already counting down to next year.

It’s Opening Night at Rooke Theater:
“POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Du***ss are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive” by Selina Fillinger
When the President manages to blow up a PR disaster into a full-blown global crisis, seven brilliant, beleaguered women working in the White House must scramble to keep the free world from unraveling. From the Chief of Staff and Press Secretary to the First Lady, a journalist and a mistress, these women all risk life, liberty and sanity to clean up the chaos caused by the man they serve.
This riotous farce is a b***y, irreverent ride through power, politics, and the often invisible labor of women in high stakes roles. With sharp wit, outrages, and a cast of characters who are equal parts heroic and exhausting, it’s a hilarious yet pointed look at what happen when nobody sane is allowed to yield.
This play is directed by Natalie Werthamer ‘26. Set Design by Amy Sue Hazel, Costume Design by Alex Ancona ‘26, Lighting and Sound Design by Sam Skynner. Photos by Tom Kelleher.
