Our 7th Senior Spotlight is Amelia Anderson! 🌟
Amelia, a Politics and History double major from Fort Worth, Texas, has been a vital part of the Weissman Center team for the past two years. As a "Springie," she hit the ground running and never looked back. Her time at MHC has been defined by a deep commitment to public service and advocacy, from interning for MA State Senator Jo Comerford to her extensive work with Mock Trial.
Amelia’s campus involvement is as impressive as it is varied. Whether she was serving as a Politics Research Methods TA, working as a barista at Francis Perk Cafe, or DJing for WMHC, she fully embraced the "freedom and opportunities" of the college. A true traveler at heart, her favorite memories include "Lynk on the Road" in NYC and the Careers in Public Service trips to DC in 2025 and 2026.
Watching Amelia grow into the self-assured leader she is today has been our privilege. She has constantly challenged herself to step out of her comfort zone, from the high-pressure environment of Mock Trial regionals to navigating the halls of power in Washington and Boston. As she prepares to return to DC to begin her professional career, we are in awe of how she has greeted the world with such bravery and kindness. Amelia, we will miss your "make it count" spirit in the office, but we can't wait to see the impact you'll continue to make!

Our 6th Senior Spotlight is Imari Williams! 🌟
Imari has been a dedicated member of the Weissman Center team for three years. Hailing from Tampa, Florida, she is the definition of classy and a true world traveler who is always up for a challenge. Her time at MHC has been filled with incredible experiences, from studying abroad in South Korea and meeting renowned pottery artists to representing the college as a Presidential Ambassador.
Imari’s adventurous spirit extends to everything she does, whether she’s competing in fencing, participating in Model UN, or writing news articles about campus leadership. At the Weissman Center, she’s been a vital leader, serving as the Lead Assistant for the 2026 Workwear event and joining us on the DC Careers and Public Service trip.
We have been so lucky to witness her growth from a first-year student to a self-assured leader; her presence in the office has been a constant source of grace and quiet strength. While she is looking forward to spending time with friends and family during her job search, the Weissman Center won't feel quite the same without her. We have no doubt that her tenacity and global perspective will take her exactly where she’s meant to be!

Our 5th Senior Spotlight is Olivia Toomey! 🌟
Olivia has been a vital part of the Weissman Center for three years. Hailing from Essex Junction, Vermont, she is a Politics and Sociology major who has truly mastered the art of public service. Olivia’s campus footprint is incredibly impressive: she has completed a semester in DC, interned with Lambda Legal, served as a Presidential Ambassador, and been a driving force behind MHCVotes! When she isn't successfully managing political campaigns, you can find her on stage with the V8s, bringing her talents to the world of a ca****la.
Beyond her impressive resume, Olivia is a rare combination of kind and scrappy, the kind of person who gets things done with a smile. She is also one of the most gracious hosts you’ll ever meet. If you are ever invited to one of her future dinner parties, you should absolutely go! We’ve loved having her energy in the office, from her work on the Weissman Workwear event to our favorite DC trips. Olivia is looking forward to exploring the public service world for a couple of years before heading to law school, and we know she’ll continue to excel as she explores new challenges.

Our 4th Senior Spotlight is Molly Malloy! 🌟
Molly has been a standout member of the Weissman Center team for the last two years. An Atlanta native, she is an Environmental Studies and Politics double major with a Nexus in Development Studies. Molly’s campus involvement is as diverse as it gets: she’s a four-season veteran of the Swim & Dive team, a member of the Chorale and Glee Club boards, and an actor who has performed in three plays at Rooke Theater. She’s also a DJ for WMHC and serves on the board of the Q***r Action Collective. Somehow, she also found time to study abroad in Geneva, Switzerland!
When she isn’t performing, swimming, or running around Dwight taking film photos with the team, Molly is simply an amazing human to be around. Just a heads up—despite her many modern talents, she might actually have the music taste of a boomer dad! We are so excited to see her head to Vietnam this summer before finishing her Master’s at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs. We'll miss her "don't take it all too seriously" spirit in the office and can't wait to see what side quests she takes on next!

Our 2nd Senior Spotlight is Asmi Shrestha! 🌟
Our team has had the pleasure of working with Asmi for three years at the Weissman Center, where she has been an absolute force. Originally from Kathmandu, Nepal, Asmi is an International Relations and South Asian Studies major with a Nexus in Development Studies. Her campus footprint is massive: she’s served as a Senior Leadership Fellow, a Presidential Student Ambassador, and an IR Department Liaison, all while being a vital part of the NEPSO and AWAZ communities. Whether she was spending a semester in DC or hosting J-Show, Asmi has approached every opportunity with a powerhouse energy.
When she isn't researching foreign policy or asking the critical questions that define her academic career, Asmi is the definition of witty and elegant. She brings an effortless "cool" to the office—so cool, in fact, that her signature eyebrow cut is just naturally occurring! We are going to miss her sharp wit, sharper brows, and brilliant presence so much as she heads off to change the world.

Our 3rd Senior Spotlight is Diana Perez! đź’„
Diana joined the Weissman Center team three years ago as a transfer student from Kansas City, and it’s no exaggeration to say she has become the absolute heart of our office. A Politics and Spanish double major, Diana has managed to be everywhere at once: she’s the Co-Chair of La Unidad (and a two-time Noche Latina MC!), the Communications Director for the Mount Holyoke Undergraduate Law Journal, a Student Mentor, and a Research Assistant. She even took her studies to Sevilla, Spain, for a semester abroad!
When she isn't busy building community or braiding hair in the office, Diana is known for making everyone feel instantly welcome and always having the best lipstick game in the room. Her advice to spend as much time with friends as humanly possible is exactly how she lives her life, and we know she’ll be surrounded by love during her well-deserved post-grad break in Mexico. We are going to miss her warmth and leadership so much but we are sure she'll be running the world in no time!

Kicking off our Senior Spotlights with the one and only Rebecca Sandoval! 🌟 We first met Rebecca as a first-year on our Lynk trip to Boston and have been obsessed with her energy ever since. Between serving as an RA and President of the College Democrats to tutoring Spanish and researching her capstone on the Pinochet regime (which included a semester in Chile!), Rebecca defines student leadership.
When she isn't doing all of that, Rebecca is likely bringing the laughs to our office. Known for her adventurous spirit and a sense of humor that keeps us all on our toes, she’s a loyal friend to everyone she meets—though she does save a special amount of energy for playfully messing with Tanisha! We’re going to miss her spark next year but can't wait to see what she does next!
