Established in 1983 originally as SummerMath for Teachers, Mathematics Leadership Programs(MLP), part of the Department of Professional and Graduate Education at Mount Holyoke College, provides a variety of engaging professional learning opportunities for teachers, teacher leaders, and instructional coaches. MLP offers a Master of Arts in Mathematics Teaching program for K-8 Educators. Students can attend this program on campus or online through our dynamic hybrid learning model. We also offer competitive Emerging Teacher Leader Scholarships up to $10,000 for qualifying applicants accepted into the program. In addition to our graduate program, we also host a variety of summer institutes and synchronous online courses during the academic year. Our facilitators are also available to work with school districts across the country and around the world for onsite professional leaning and consulting. MLP is a site for educational research through a variety of multi-year programs funded by organizations like the National Science Foundation, the Mellon Foundation, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
