Next week, May 4–8, we are excited to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week at The Academy of the Little Flower! 🌸

Each day, we’ll be honoring our incredible teachers with small treats as a token of our gratitude. Their dedication, patience, and passion make a lasting difference in the lives of our children every single day.

We are so thankful for all that our early childhood educators do. Nurturing young minds, creating a safe and loving environment, and helping each child grow and thrive. 💛

Please join us in showing appreciation for these amazing individuals who make our center such a special place by having your children create special thank you cards, leaving a shout out for your teachers or just by saying thank you!

This month our classrooms have been filled with meaningful conversations, inspiring stories and joyful learning as we’ve explored the lives and contributions of many amazing black historians, leaders and change makers.

From learning about trailblazers like Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks and Ruby Bridges, to celebrating artists like Maya Angelou and Stevie Wonder, and even the amazing athletes like Simone Biles, Michael Jordan and Jackie Robinson, the children here at the Academy Of The Little Flower have been discovering how courage, creativity, and determination can change the world.

Our educators took the celebration even further by decorating each of their classroom doors in honor of Black History Month. Our hallways have been changed into beautiful displays highlighting powerful messages, influential figures and of course stundent work!

We are so proud of the conversations happening in our classrooms and the meaningful ways our community is celebrating black history, culture and excellence ❤️🖤💚

Today, in celebration of our 1 year anniversary we received our license to open two more room! Our Academy has the capacity of 44 children in the following rooms; Infant, Infant/Toddler, 2 Toddler, Preschool!!!

Last week we painted bird houses to bring home and hang in our yards 🩷

Miss Morgan brought her giraffe in today for our “zoo party” 💛 her giraffes name is Oliver!
