Maybe the Rhythm Has to Change
I’ve been thinking a lot about balance lately.
And I’m starting to believe I may have been looking for the wrong thing.
Maybe life isn’t supposed to be perfectly balanced.
Maybe we’re supposed to find a rhythm.
Some seasons require more of us at work.
Some seasons require more of us at home.
Sometimes we’re caring for other people.
Sometimes we need to make room to care for ourselves.
And sometimes the laundry is going to sit there for another day. 😂
The challenge is recognizing when the rhythm has changed—and being willing to change with it.
I’ve entered a new season in my own life, and I’m learning that I can’t simply take everything I was already doing and pile something new on top.
Something has to shift.
That doesn’t mean the things I care about matter less.
It means I’m learning how to make room for what matters now.
Maybe that’s something someone else needs to hear this morning, too.
You don’t have to do everything.
You don’t have to do everything the way you’ve always done it.
And you certainly don’t have to do everything at the same time.
Give yourself permission to find the rhythm that works for the season you’re in.
I’m still finding mine. ❤️
For now, I’m going to enjoy my coffee and appreciate a quiet Sunday morning.
☕❤️ Have a blessed Sunday, friends.
