We were so excited to welcome our Foxes back for the first day of school! The building was filled with smiles, excitement, and joy. We can already tell it is going to be an amazing year!

We kicked off the year with a pep rally, where we introduced our staff and reviewed our schoolwide expectations:

🦊 “Quiet Hallways Always” in the hallways
🦊 “Quick, Quiet, Clean” in the restrooms
🦊 “Foxes Up” for a quiet signal
🦊 “A Step on Every Step” on the stairs

We are excited to continue practicing these expectations as we work together to keep Fox Meadow safe, respectful, and ready to learn.

Also, a special shoutout to our Fox Meadow PTO for providing a fabulous breakfast for our staff!

Thank you, Fox Meadow families, for the tremendous turnout at Meet the Teacher and School Supply Drop Off! It was so exciting to welcome back our returning Foxes and meet our newest Foxes! 🦊

A special thank you to our amazing staff, Fox Meadow PTO, U-46 Early Learners Initiatives, Right At School, South Elgin Fire Department, South Elgin Police Department, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, South Elgin Park District, The Salvation Army USA, and Gail Borden Public Library for their support.

We are SO excited to welcome our Foxes back for the 2026–2027 school year! Join us for our Back to School Bash & School Supply Drop Off!

⏰ 3:30–5:00 p.m.
📍 Fox Meadow Elementary

Come meet your teacher, visit your new classroom, drop off your school supplies, connect with other Fox families and community partners, and meet our Right at School representatives!

🍧 Our PTO will also have Kona Ice available for purchase!

Our Kindergarten Playdate was a hit today! Thank you to all our families who came out to visit with our teachers and get to know new classmates and friends! Our teachers help to put on a fantastic orientation where students got a chance to visit their classroom while our families got to learn more about Fox Meadow.

This afternoon, we had the wonderful opportunity to explore the exciting new addition to Kenyon Woods Middle School!

It was incredible to see the state-of-the-art learning environments that will provide students with even more opportunities to learn, grow, collaborate, and thrive.

We’re especially excited knowing that our former Foxes—and our future former Foxes—will have the opportunity to maximize these amazing new spaces beginning this school year! What an exciting next chapter for our Foxes and community! ❤️🦊
