Celebrating the legacy of Alan White. June 14, 1949-May 26, 2022.
Alan was longtime drummer for the progressive band 'Yes'. He recorded and performed with numerous other artists; John Lennon ( drummer on 'Imagine' and 'Instant Karma' ) George Harrison, The Ventures, Joe Cocker and many more.

Boston music history at it's best!
Remembering 'The Boston Tea Party' concert club. Located on Berklee St. this legendary venue opened January 1967. It held up to 400 people and ticket prices ranged 3.00 - $3.50. The bands that performed were beyond staggering:
Led Zepplin. Pink Floyd, Allman Bros. The Who, The Stones and countless others. Below is a photo of Led Zep on the brink of stardom.

This is a copy of composer Vivaldi's original hand written score for 'Spring'. Vivaldi composed 'The Four Seasons' between 1720 and 1723.
Each of the 4 concerts have well thought out characteristics in tone to amazingly emulate each of the four seasons. This collection of works is among the most popular worldwide and certainly a great choice for new Classical listeners!

Today's Instructor Highlight!
Barbara Clement, instructor for flute, piccolo, oboe and piano.
Barbara performs with The Quincy Symphony and also sits on the Board of Directors.
Additionally she is a member of the Melrose and Cape Ann Symphonies, and renowned flute quartet 'Flutissmo'.
Barbara has been with us since our opening and we are honored to have her as a part of Southeast!

Congratualtions to our string/piano instructor Gail Colombo! Gail is Mansfield's Orchestra teacher, and she conducted an amazing March 15 concert. The orchestra included over 100 string students from elementary, middle and high school! Job well done Gail!

The Joshua Tree by U2. U2’s 5th studio album, The Joshua Tree was released on March 9, 1987.
Recording began in January of 1986 in Ireland and was completed in November. Production continued into January of 1987. Songs on The Joshua Tree includes “With or Without You”, “I Still haven’t Found What I’m Looking For”, and “Where the Streets Have No Name.” U2 earned Grammy awards for Album of the Year and Best Rock Performance by a Group with Vocal in 1988. The success of The Joshua Tree cemented U2’s place as one of the most important sociopolitical rock bands in history and propelled them into their next career phase as a stadium concert band.

Introducing our summer intern instructor Anastasia Pavloff! Anastasia instructs violin beginner to advance, Classical, Fiddle and Pop Rock.
She is currently studying music at U Mass Amherst.
Anastasia' s many credits include OA Chamber Orchestra and Junior District Festivals Concert Master, Senior District, All State and numerous performances throut this region.
