Today’s Mail Carrier Craft at Stepping Stones!

Our little learners turned into cheerful mail carriers today! Each child designed their own mini “mailbag” and practiced delivering letters to friends -learning about community helpers, communication, and teamwork along the way.

This hands-on activity sparked conversations about how mail travels, built fine motor skills through cutting and assembling, and encouraged imaginative play.

The smiles say it all as learning truly is fun when we deliver it with creativity and joy!

Fire Fork Painting Art Project 🔥

This week, our little artists explored a fun and creative fire-themed art activity using an unexpected tool — forks! 🍴🎨

The children dipped forks into red, orange, and yellow paint to create fire-like strokes, learning how everyday objects around us can turn into amazing art tools. This hands-on project helped strengthen:

Fine motor skills
Creativity and imagination
Color mixing and layering
Understanding of fire safety

July Highlights from Our EcoVenture Explorers 🌿

This month, our curious little learners immersed themselves in a world of discovery through our EcoVenture program! July was packed with hands-on projects that helped children explore the elements of air, trees, water, and dirt-all while developing a deeper appreciation for nature.

From wind experiments and water exploration to tree art and soil sensory play, the kids had a blast learning about the environment in fun and meaningful ways.

🏡This Week’s Theme: Places We Live

At Stepping Stones Family Childcare and Preschool LLC, we’re exploring the theme “Places We Live” all week long!

Today’s focus was on houses — what they look like, what makes them special, and who lives in them.

The children had a wonderful time learning through stories, building activities, and creative play. We talked about different types of homes and even got to design our own!
