⭐ Congratulations to our August PE Student of the Month, A’Shira Graham! ⭐ A’Shira is showing what it means to be a true PE All-Star! She demonstrates outstanding sportsmanship, leadership, and respect for the rules while encouraging her classmates, playing fairly, and bringing a positive attitude to PE each day.

Thank you to Coach Barnes and Coach Leroy for creating this special PE Student of the Month recognition! Such a great way to celebrate students who go above and beyond in PE and recognize the great character they show on and off the court. 🏆👏

🌸 We’re excited to announce the start of Girls Helping Girls, an after-school club designed to teach students about hair care, easy hairstyles, self-care, and more! 💕 Students will also have opportunities to learn from special guests, including hair stylists and estheticians, and participate in our Fun Hair Days with DSC Cosmetology students! ✨

Be on the lookout for a Girls Helping Girls sign-up sheet coming home with your child. Forms were sent to teachers yesterday, and there is no deadline to return them. Please note that Kindergarten students did not receive sign-up forms for the after-school meetings, but they will be able to participate in the Fun Hair/Nail Days when those dates are announced!

Accurate health information helps our school nurses and staff respond quickly and appropriately, supports student well-being, and ensures we can reach families when it matters most.

Updating your information is easy:
1️⃣ Log in to the Parent Portal
2️⃣ Select your student
3️⃣ Review and update health information
4️⃣ Complete required Back-to-School Forms
5️⃣ Submit your updates

Please update the portal anytime your student’s medical needs, medications, or emergency contacts change.

🍬 Fifth Grade Candy Fridays! 🍭

Need a little Friday morning treat? Our fifth grade team will be selling candy for $1–$2 every Friday morning before school in the parent drop off loop! 🎉 All proceeds will help support our fifth graders’ field trips throughout the school year. So grab a sweet treat and help send our Dragons on some awesome adventures! 🐉💙
