Erskine Academy Cell Phone Policy for 2026–2027

As we prepare for the 2026–2027 school year, we want to make sure our families are clear about Erskine Academy’s approach to student cell phone use.

While Maine’s new “Bell to Bell” law applies to public schools and does not apply to Erskine Academy as an independent school, we share the goal of keeping students focused and engaged during instructional time. Our current policy will remain in place, balancing clear expectations in the classroom with opportunities for students to practice responsible technology use.

It was great to welcome members of Erskine Academy’s Class of 2006 back to campus today!

The group took a tour of the school to see all the updates and changes that have taken place over the years before heading off to their official 20th reunion celebration this afternoon.

Erskine Academy Fall Sports Tryouts Begin August 17!

Fall sports season is almost here! Student-athletes should review the tryout schedule and be sure they're ready for the first day of practice.

Tryout Week is Monday, August 17 – Friday, August 21, 2026. Sports offered include Cross Country, Girls Soccer, Boys Soccer, Golf, and Field Hockey.

Important Reminders: All student-athletes must submit the following forms on or before their first practice (August 17):

• Health History Form
• Parent Permission Form
• Concussion Management Form
• Booster Form

Forms can be downloaded from the Erskine Academy Athletics webpage: www.erskineacademy.org/activities/athletics/

Freshmen: Please note that a current physical exam (completed within the past 12 months) is required before participating.

Please also note that there will also be a mandatory Parent & Athlete Meeting on Thursday, August 20 at 5:30 pm in the EA Gymnasium.
