Greetings all. As I sit here procrastinating packing for the move, I wanted to let everyone know I'm happy to give referrals for further musical study in the area. If you are interested, private message me and we'll talk! I have so enjoyed working with you all these past few years and wish you all the best in your musical endeavors and otherwise!

As I watch the snow fall, I think it is probably safe to say we should not have voice or piano lessons tomorrow. We will reconvene next week. Stay warm and safe all!

Greetings all! I hope you are all warm and safe amid our winter weather. Just another reminder, when Kanawha County Schools closes for inclement weather, so do I. As such, there will be no lessons at Gorby's this evening.

Saturday students, though I am not officially cancelling now, the impending storm system makes me think we may have to cancel then as well, so stay tuned for updates, and as always, if you just don't feel safe coming, just let me know via messenger, text, or E-mail.

As a reminder, my policy for inclement weather is to follow the decisions of kanawha county schools. With their early dismissal today, there will be no lessons this evening.

The new year is bringing changes, largely in schedules. I am now teaching full time at Stonewall Jackson Middle School in addition to maintaining a studio at West Virginia State University. I am still juggling schedules, attempting to determine where I can squeeze folks in. As such, I am no longer accepting new students, and looking to teach at Gorby's on Thursday evening and Saturday morning. If you are a courant student interested in our willing to switch to a Saturday time slot, let me know ASAP. Happy New Year!

Greetings all! Today is recital day. I hope you're all excited. I know I am. Just a reminder to be there at 4:45 so we can go over recital procedure and give little fingers a chance to play a bit on the Bechstein before we begin! You're all going to be so wonderful!

Dress is whatever you consider fancy! Think church attire (or more fancy if you like). I'm a singer. I appreciate the need for flair! ;)

ATTENTION: I apologize for the late notice, but my Jack has been vomiting and ill today. I have no one available to care for him this evening, and I'm afraid it may be hitting me soon. I had hoped he would rally by this evening, which is why I have just made the decision to cancel now. As such, NO LESSONS THIS EVENING--Thursday April 9, 2015. I'll be attempting to call and e-mail students about this evening as well.

Kanawha County Schools has closed early for flooding. Straying from my typical policy to close if they do, I will be teaching tonight. That said, if you cannot make it do to weather problems, you will not forfeit your lesson. We can make it up or bump that money to next month, if you have already paid. If you have not, we can just leave it off March payment. Please let me know if you do not plan to be there.
