Some remarkable expertise goes to work every day at the West Virginia Regional Technology Park.

Madhur Bedre, founder and president of Park tenant Atlas Prediction Control, recently shared some of that expertise with Automation World, offering practical lessons from years of experience with integrated factory acceptance testing (IFAT).

One of the most interesting takeaways: as industrial technology has improved, many of the problems that remain arent necessarily technology problems. Successful integration often comes down to preparation, accountability, good data and making sure everyone understands who owns what before equipment ever leaves the factory floor.

Madhur and the Atlas team work at the intersection of advanced process control, industrial automation and AI, helping manufacturers solve complex operating challenges. We're proud to have people doing this caliber of work as part of the community at the West Virginia Regional Technology Park.

Building the workforce for West Virginia’s advanced manufacturing future takes collaboration.

BridgeValley Community and Technical College and WVU Parkersburg have been awarded nearly $2 million through the Appalachian Regional Commission’s POWER Initiative to expand advanced manufacturing education and workforce development across 11 West Virginia counties.

The three-year initiative will expand industry-aligned training, modernize advanced manufacturing equipment, and establish two open-access training labs—connecting students, workers, educators, and employers with hands-on opportunities to develop in-demand skills.

This is exactly the kind of education-industry collaboration that strengthens West Virginia's innovation and manufacturing ecosystem—and it's especially meaningful here at the West Virginia Regional Technology Park, where BridgeValley is part of our campus community.

That’s why we’re sharing this opportunity for West Virginia-based, high-growth startups to apply for the Fall 2026 gBETA cohort at Marshall University’s iCenter, powered by Quality Insights.

This free, seven-week accelerator program is designed to help early-stage, high-growth West Virginia companies build momentum, strengthen investor readiness and accelerate their growth.

Selected companies receive individualized coaching and mentorship, opportunities to connect with experienced entrepreneurs and investors, educational sessions, valuable vendor perks and ongoing support from the nationally ranked gener8tor network.

Yesterday, we hosted our annual Tenant Appreciation Lunch at the West Virginia Regional Technology Park to celebrate the incredible companies and people who make our campus such a vibrant place to work and innovate.

Tenants enjoyed a delicious Build Your Own Taco Bar prepared by The Galley, along with time to connect with colleagues from across the campus.

We also had the pleasure of recognizing James Duncan for five years of dedicated service to the Tech Park. Thank you, Duncan, for your commitment and contributions—we're grateful to have you on our team!

A heartfelt thank you to all of our tenants for being part of the West Virginia Regional Technology Park community. We appreciate your partnership and look forward to another year of innovation and collaboration.

We were honored to host an international delegation this week at the West Virginia Regional Technology Park as they explored opportunities across the region.

It was a privilege to showcase our campus, discuss the Park’s unique capabilities, and highlight the many advantages West Virginia offers for innovation, investment, and growth.

It’s hard to believe it’s already been a week since we celebrated 15 years of the West Virginia Regional Technology Park.

We’re still reflecting on what a great evening it was—spent with partners, tenants, colleagues, and friends who have all played a role in the Park’s story.
