Brooke, Delaney, Manon, Lauren & Carly all competed in the Clark County Job Interview CDE contest this afternoon! They got their first taste of competition for the year and will gain valuable feedback as they all advance to the sub-district contest at the end of the month. Great job, ladies! 🍎📚 Our FFA Scholarship Committee visited Miami View Elementary today to share a fall-themed agricultural literacy with the 1st graders! Students enjoyed a reading of Henry’s Harvest: Apple C***r, a fun apple-themed game, an apple variety coloring sheet, and a video showing how an apple c***r press works. We wrapped up by tasting delicious local apple c***r from Peifer Orchards! 🧃🍏🍎

We love helping students make connections to agriculture through hands-on, engaging activities! 💙💛

Today, three of our chapter officers had the opportunity to attend the Ohio Legislative Leadership Conference at the Ohio Statehouse! There, they participated in a workshop focused on advocating for agriculture in real-world settings, enjoyed fellowship & a yummy lunch with other Ohio FFA members, heard from guest speakers, and met with Senator Koehler’s senior aide before heading home.

A HUGE thank you to Tecumseh FFA for letting us pile into the van, Ohio FFA for hosting and organizing such a great conference, and Evan from OFBF for all of your help making the conference a success!!

🌱 Clark County Soils CDE! 🌱

Today, Southeastern FFA put our soil judging skills to the test at the Clark County Rural Soil Judging CDE! We had 4 high school members and 7 junior high members compete, getting out in the field and putting their classroom knowledge to work through real-world, hands-on learning. 👩‍🌾👨‍🌾

A HUGE thank you to Blair McConkey and McConkey Farms for hosting us and digging the soil sites for today’s contest! We appreciate you opening up your farm and helping provide this experience for our students.

Thank you also to Chris Simpson with Clark County Soil & Water for serving as our judge and helping make today’s competition possible!

🌾 Today is also National Teach Ag Day! 🌾
What better way to celebrate than by seeing students from across Clark County getting their hands dirty, learning outside the classroom, and applying what they’ve learned to real agricultural situations. Happy National Teach Ag Day to all of the agricultural educators who make experiences like today possible! 💙💛🌱

Today, our Southeastern FFA officers proudly served during our school’s Patriot’s Day Assembly as part of our Operation Old Glory initiative. 🇺🇸

Our officers had the honor of raising and lowering the American flag and speaking throughout the program. The stories reminded all of us to remember and honor the innocent victims, courageous first responders, working dogs, and everyday heroes of September 11, 2001.

Through Operation Old Glory, our FFA members are working to strengthen citizenship, patriotism, and a sense of belonging within our school, community, and country. We are proud of these students for stepping forward to serve and helping ensure that the sacrifices and stories of 9/11 are never forgotten.

❤️🤍💙Never Forget. 💙🤍❤️
